What Are The Application Requirements?

For the Positions of Virtual Scribes (Full and Part Time) and Pre-registration & Scheduler you must: 

• Have a minimum of 2 Years experience as a medical transcriptionist or Scribe. 
• Have at least 2 years high level experience with Medical Terminology.

• Excellent attention to detail and computer skills. 

• First class Grammar, including spelling and punctuation.

Technical Requirements (For all positions). 

• Reasonably modern computer or laptop with a fast internet connection.
• Able to use email and internet for research purposes. 

Pre-certification Specialist. 

For the position of Precertification Specialist you must:

• Have at least 1 or 2 year experience with obtaining Precertification authorisation for a health insurance company or Diagnostic Test center within the past 12 months. 

• An ability to work with EMR's, training will be provided, but experience is required. 

• A full understanding of insurance company coverage and participation.

• Committed, dedicated and motivated to work independently and use the documentation provided and carry out the precertification requests.

There is no mention of a minimum typing speed or any specific hardware or software such as a headset, foot pedal or professional transcription software.
