NUmedia Reviews

Summary: NuMedia might sound like a magnificent opportunity to start your own IPTV streaming service as a business and earn yourself a lot of money. However, NuMedia are a Pirate IPTV service and could end you in a lot of trouble and on the wrong side of the law.

Rating: 5/100

Because You KNOW You Want To FIRE YOUR BOSS. The Question Is: Are You Just Going To Dream About It Or Are You Going To MAKE IT Happen?!?

What Is NuMedia?

NuMedia (numedia.bizis an MLM Company owned and operated by Ferras Jim Pshehalouk that is catching the attention of many people and opportunity seekers as IPTV gains incredible popularity thanks to streaming media companies like Disney, Netflix and many others.

They, started out under a different name, 247 SmartLife offering Digital TV streaming service TVizion.

There is no solid details regarding NuMedia, when they were founded, where they are headquartered. T

his is a straight red flag in my opinion and experience, as any and every company of this magnitude should be completely transparent as to who the CEO is, The CTO, who running the company and of course where they are located.

Who Is Ferras Jim Pshehalouk?

There is not at lot at all known about or written online about Ferras Jim Pshehalouk other than having been born in September 1962 and in An American Citizen bases in Irvine, California.

While I completely respect an individuals right to privacy I am very questionable about an CEO and owner of a high profile company and there being very little details regarding business background, career and what really qualifies him to be the man behind such companies such as NuMedia and TVizion.

Regardless of which business model or type of business you want to get involved in be it drop shipping, Amazon FBA, Affiliate Marketing, or of course network marketing you should certainly look to find out who is behind the company.

NuMedia Lawsuit

Technically there are  lawsuits filed against NuMedia Global TV and NuMedia Hosting,  as they have been included and added to and an existing injunction y Dish Network.

Just about the only real and solid details that can be found about the aforementioned Ferras Jim Pshehalouk comes from court documents.

He got himself and his previous venture 247 SmartLife into trouble with US television service provider Dish Network who filed a lawsuit against 247 SmartLife for copyright infringement and, cutting to the chase, offering pirated streaming services through his company.

Ultimately an MLM Opportunity, or more accurately a criminal enterprise built off the back of an illegal service.

Numedia, it was claimed only a matter of days after the lawsuit was filed bought 247 Smartlife for US$220 Million. There is of course no solid or verifiable evidence to back that up such claims, particularly when the records show that NuMedia.biz was registered only days after Dish Network served their lawsuit to 247 Smartlife.

As far as scams go - this is not o borderline scam, not even a close call, it is a clear cut scam focused around a pirated and illegal product.

And if you get involved, you too as a distributor can be held liable under the law and potentially get yourself into a lot of trouble.

Affiliate Marketing

The NuMedia Product Line

NuMedia as I have mentioned has an illegal pirated product which breaches copyright laws. It is app access to a variety of content streams including:

  • News Channels
  • Sports Channels
  • Premium Movie Channels
  • HBO Showtime Golf Channel NFL
  • Various International Channels, Premium Channels, HD Channels and Premium HD Channels.

There are an incredible number of streaming channels said to in the range of 3000+ and costs US$49.95 per month.

Their website uses, without permission numerous copyright holder brand logos which leads consumers and potential independent business owners into thinking that they have permission to use them and represent their brand and have access to their content.

There are no details anywhere confirming that they have the permission of, or any agreement with the third-party copyright holders.

The NuMedia Compensation Plan

NuMedia is a network marketing business opportunity and, it doesn't take the greatest marketers to know or the most experienced of MLM'rs either to know that there have at least 3 ways of you to generate revenue with their compensation plan!

  • 1. Direct Retail Sales: You sell their Products and for your effort you earn a commission.
  • 2. Recruitment: You promote their opportunity to friends, family and other people, grow your downline and earn for recruitment and pass up commissions.
  • 3. Bonuses & Commissions: Work hard, motivate and inspire the people that you have recruited and earn bonuses and commissions based on that. This, btw is where the key is in MLM's - helping your team.

Before I move forwards and explain the compensation plan, let's talk about joining R Network and the cost of getting started.

Getting Started With NuMedia

Joining NuMedia is as easy as being invited by your referring affiliate, after which you will need to buy a US$49.95 subscription to NuMedia for their streaming content.

And then you have a choice of either joining through one of two packages which are:

  • Their Director 1 Star Package US$259 Or
  • Their Director 2 Star Package US$1249

With the director packages you get vouchers that you can give away to your new recruits.

The NuMedia Compensation Plan

If you join this opportunity, as an affiliate of them you will earn for selling a monthly subscription access to illegal pirated content.

Let's now get into the nitty gritty of how you will get paid and earn with their opportunity.

Recruitment Commissions

As an affiliate of this business opportunity if and when you manage to get a new recruit to join with and sign up to one of the two packages (Director 1 star and 2 star packages), you will earn a recruitment commission of US$100 or US$350.

This right here tells you that it is in the best interest of the person trying to recruit you to convince you to go all in and not necessarily in your best interest.

Direct Commissions

For getting retails sales of their subscription based US$49.95 monthly product you will earn US$10 per month.

Residual Commissions

From my analysis of their compensation plan and structure they use the Unilevel compensation plan. With this plan you are placed at the top or the head of the, well, pyramid.

The members that you directly recruit, also referred to as your direct recruits and you level one recruits are placed immediately below you, as indicated in the image below.

Your level 2 recruits are placed on level 2, these are your direct recruits direct recruits, their level one referrals.

The rest of the "pyramid" follows on in this manner.

Unilevel Compensation Model

The Unilevel Compensation Plan basic structure

The first six that are recruited into your unilevel team, a minimum of two must be your personal recruits and are, as they say "coded" to you.

The commissions earned are as a percentage of the membership fees that have been earned by means of recruitment by the 6 that have been recruited into your team.

The Coded Affiliates are separated into 4 tiers in the following way:

  • 1 Star Affiliate: Here you must recruit a minimum of 2 affiliates.
  • 2 Star Affiliate: Here You Must maintain the 2 recruited affiliates from above, and you must have a downline totalling a minimum of 100 affiliates.
  • 3 Star Affiliate: At this level you need to maintain your two recruited affiliates from the 1 and 2 star level and you must have a downline totalling a minimum of 300 affiliates.
  • 4 Star Affiliate: At this level you must maintain the two personally recruited affiliates and you must have a downline totalling a minimum of least 500 affiliates.

In short to qualify for residual commissions you absolutely must have a minimum of 2 personally recruits that you have brought into NuMedia Global TV.

Once an affiliate has qualified at the star rank their first six recruits that are in their downline that meet the qualification requirements are coded and assigned to their team for that particular tier.

  • The monthly subscription of US$49.95 for the TV Services will earn you  $25 in Commissionable Volume
  • The US$259 Fee for the Director 1 Star Package fees will earn you $100 in Commissionable Volume
  • The US$1249 Fee For the Director 2 Star Package fees Will Earn You  $500 in Commissionable Volume

Commissionable Volume are the sales volume from which your residual commissions are calculated.

The percentage earned at each star rank is as shown below:

  • 1 Star: At this level you will earn 10%
  • 2 Star: at thus level you will earn 20%
  • 3 Star: At this level you will earn 30%
  • 4 Star: At this level you will earn 40%

Matching Bonus

A matching bonus of 100% will be paid for your direct commissions for your direct recruits within a 30 day period.

The 5 MLM Red Flags By Dr Jon Taylor

From the image above and having gone through the entire compensation plan and explained it count and see how many red flags that you see.

I am seeing at least 3 red flags.  Just one is enough reason to for you, based on Dr Jon Taylors recommendation to avoid them.

In my own opinion I see a deal of pay to play and pyramid structure going on here within the compensation plan - and thus had their product been a fully licenced and legal product NuMedia would still be a questionable one to be involved in.

Is NuMedia Accredited By The BBB?

This is a great question, and I am one that strongly encourages you as both a citizen and as a reader of my blog I encourage you to take as much action as you can to ensure your online safety.

This is how you avoid the scams and opportunities that end up wasting your time.

There are plenty of listings for NuMedia on the Better Business Bureau website, all of which are as I suspect distributors and not the actual head office.

I can only say that since there no listing for the head office / principle distributor that they are unaccredited and not rated.

Is NuMedia A Member Of The Direct Sellers Association?

No,

I had a good search on the Direct Sellers Association database and as expected I found there to be no trace of them.

The DSA is a highly professional organisation that only the VERY best gain membership and accreditation from.

Even though I make it no secret that I am not at all a fan of MLM or network marketing opportunities if you personally do wish to try one out you should look for ONLY one that is a member of the Direct Sellers Association.

Membership is subject to a very stringent audit that takes up to 2 years to complete and are known to kick out or reject membership of companies who have a compensation plan that has elements of a pyramid scheme and ponzi schemes.

Is NuMedia Legal?

Despite the claim on their website and that of TVizion (see the image below) NuMedia may be in technical terms a legal entity and a legal business the product is infringement of copyright laws as per the court case and awards of the court by Dish Network.

I can only state my opinion here and non-expert non-legal opinion that they are illegal given their product is fake pirated TV service and not compliant with the law in this aspect.

Is NUMedia Legal

I am not entirely in agreement with this statement from their website

Does NuMedia Global TV Offer A Refund?

I am unaware of any refund given to distributors I have found there are refunds given to retail clients before their 30-day trial period is over.

To get a refund they must make a claim prior to the 30 days being over.

Refunds are subject to a deduction for costs related to shipping and handling.

NuMedia Reviews And Common Complaints

I had a good look at various NuMedia Reviews  by YouTubers, Bloggers, independent review sites, review boards, Reddit, social media, forums, including the famed Beer Money Forum and review boards.

Wallace Of Digital Cash Kings and his NuMedia Review he is rather detailed and well presented is very up beat and positive in his review NuMedia by has skipped over and side stepped the question and issue relating to the pirated content, the lawsuit and legal action against the company.

Jerry of Smart Affiliate Success and his review of NuMedia rates them at just 1 out of 100 for the very issue that Wallace skipped over - getting involved with a company and product that has legal history.

Mike Of Make Time online in his analysis rated them as 0/100 and ponders the question if they are a pyramid scheme in disguise.

The highly respected behind MLM labels them as a and I directly quote here "a ticking time bomb".

What I Liked About NuMedia

This is something that as a positive and vibrant person that likes to see the good in all things, It is with great regret that I cannot see anything at all that I liked about NuMedia at all.

Even if and when I don't like network marketing opportunity I can perhaps point to a good and well thought out product line, or some charity they are involved in, or even a well thought out compensation plan.

Unfortunately there is nothing that comes to my mind or I can put my finger on that I liked about this Business opportunity.

What I Did Not Like About NuMedia

While there are a lot of things that I did not like about NuMedia Global TV it is not my intention to have complete free for all and hit you with an explosion and huge list of everything. Let's stick to the main points regarding my dislike for this opportunity, which were:

  • Their core product is an illegal pirated TV service, which by selling them, can you in trouble.
  • Their Unilevel Compensation Structure has aspects of a pyramid scheme.
  • They appear to have elements of pay to play scheme going on.
  • They are poorly rated by many reviewers online with one describing them as a ticking time bomb!

Can You Make Money With NuMedia?

This is not something that I am too keen to admit to, however I have to remain factual and accurate.

Yes, it is entirely possible and feasible that you can make money with NuMedia if you can get sales and enough people to join their business opportunity under your sponsorship.

This is despite their illegal pirate product and subscription service and questionable compensation plan that in my opinion has elements of pay to play behind it.

Just because you can make money with it, it does not mean that you should or that you will continue to make money long term.

Think about the karma. I only get involved in businesses that bring good to peoples lives and recommend products and opportunities that are in line with this.

Money has karma, if the opportunity is causing harm to anyone in any way walk away. You just don't need that kind of hassle in your life.

Is NuMedia A Pyramid Scheme?

To answer this question accurately and to help you see clearly if NuMedia is a scam or not I have reproduced a table which is what state legislatures and lawmakers use to determine what is a Pyramid Scheme and what is not.

My own understanding and opinion is that NuMedia does meet the legal definition and requirement to be classified as a Pyramid scheme.

Elements Of A Pyramid Scheme

Is NuMedia An MLM Business Opportunity?

Yes,

this is something that cannot be doubted nor denied by anyone at all be they involved with the company or not as they use known compensation plans and structures that are associated with Multilevel marketing programs and pay members over more than one level - which is enough to meet the legal definition of what constitutes a multilevel program.

Is NuMedia A Ponzi Scheme?

What is clear is NuMedia is not and has not been set up originally or initially as a Ponzi scheme as the have a product behind them which is indicative of NOT being a Ponzi scheme.

However,

many MLM's end up being accidental ponzi schemes as affiliates and members turn to focusing on recruitment rather than product sales in an an attempt to get their money invested back.

With the illegal pirate product it may be that members turn to recruitment more that product sales which would make them skirt on the areas of being a ponzi scheme.

Is NuMedia A Scam Or Legit?

In my humble opinion NuMedia in indeed a scam due to the pirated product associated with them and the legal action taken against the company and the owner in regards to copyright infringement.

3 Common MLM Lies

NuMedia Alternatives

There are a number of alternatives to NuMedia which you can consider. I have listed MLM opportunities as perhaps these are to your liking and maybe what you are looking for,

  1. Financial Education Services
  2. Income Shift Pro
  3. OnPassive
  4. World Financial Group
  5. Four Corners Alliance
  6. Freedom Equity Group
  7. Credit Star Funding

All of the above as I have mentioned all use the network marketing business model.

I have comprehensively detailed them in my own reviews - as you can see I am a stickler for being very detailed and fully comprehensive.

It is in my opinion that this type of business model is best left to the network marketing professionals and those that have experience. It is a difficult business model to get started with as it involves a certain skill in both recruitment, training and keeping your recruits fully focused and inspired to stick with it as essentially their success is your success.

Consumer advocate Dr Jon Taylor in his study of 250+ MLM opportunities found that 997 out of 1,000 people starting an network marketing business end up losing money.

With odds as low as 3 in a thousand of breaking even it is easy to see that the odd really are stacked against you.

This is why I am very apprehensive regarding all MLM opportunities and recommending them and favour affiliate marketing as business model which is far less complicated, easier to run and a much higher success rate.

My NuMedia Review - The Final Conclusion

NuMedia is, to answer the questing in my headline, is an IPTV scam as they offer an illegal pirated product.

I strongly advise you not to get involved as that last thing  you want to do is start a business and then get into trouble with the police and authorities regarding the possession of and sale of pirated product.

Also,

You never know when or if NuMedia will be slapped with a cease and desist order. You have no reason to complicate your life.
