How Does The Oxford Income Letter Work?

The Oxford Income Letter comes in 3 distinctive parts which are all digitally delivered as follows:

  • A Monthly Newsletter

This is what can be accurately describes as "the beef" the main central product of the Oxford Income Letter and what the whole package is centred around.

In the monthly newsletter Marc talks about the new opportunities in the world of investing that he recommends based on his own research and expert analysis.

This is exactly what the Oxford Income Letter is for - to provide you, the subscriber and reader with quality investment advice and opportunities that you can think about and take action on.

  • Weekly Updates

A month can be an eternity in the world of investing! Marc and the Oxford Club have gotten around this by providing you with weekly updates on the investment opportunities spoken about in the monthly newsletter.

If there is any particularly important information that you should know or need to know you will be updated in the weekly updates.

  • Urgent Email Updates

The urgent "Email Blasts" similar to the weekly newsletter are as the name suggests much more urgent and absolutely *must* know straight away - no waiting 5 or 6 days or even until tomorrow to get what you need to know.

The urgent information gets blasted to you straight away.

This is a huge plus point in my opinion as you are not just told which opportunities are hot or what company to invest in you are give important information and updates on a weekly and "Urgent" basis should a week be too long a time frame.

Another plus point, that I like is you get see how the recommended investments are performing in the regular updates even if you have chosen not to invest in an opportunity.

How Much Is The Oxford Income Letter?

The Oxford Income Letter has various pricing points and packages are as follows:

  • Premium One Year US$79 (Discounted from US$249)
  • Standard One Year Subscription US$129
  • Basic One Year Subscription US$49

Basically if you choose to subscribe it is a year long subscription with various packages with an emphasis on their Premium package - particularly as in my opinion and from what I have experienced all you have to do is visit their sales page and get the special discount.

There is no point nor value in paying more for a standard subscription at US$129 than the US$79 for the premium package while on offer at the discounted rate - US$1.52 a week makes for top class expert financial advice regarding dividend paying shares seems to be a pretty good deal to me.

Do be aware fo the auto renew feature which is set to auto renew when your year subscription ends.

Be careful of that one and set your google reminder calendar to cancel it if you decide it is not for you and you don't want to renew.

Is The Oxford Income Letter Accredited By The BBB?

Something I always do is check out how a product or company is rated by consumer organisations.

While the actual publication is not rated, nor likely to be I can dig down and check out the publisher.

Checking out the publishers profile on the Better Business Bureau allows me to see how professionally and seriously they take their business and their attitude towards their clients and any complaints made.

At this moment in time the publisher, The Oxford Club, their profile is currently being updated and to maintain fairness and integrity I am not willing to make any comment in regards to their accreditation nor rating with the BBB.

The Oxford Club BBB Rating

Common Complaints

I am not particular about digging around the internet to find dirt about any company in particular, I will do so only when necessary.

Firstly, I give precedence to official complaints made through official channels such as the Better Business Bureau as those are complaint that carry more weight and are genuine in nature rather than some "trash talk" on a public forum that be made by anyone - including trolls!.

This out of fairness, this area is reserved until the BBB profile is updated.

Thank you for understanding.

What Are Others Around The Net Saying About The Oxford Income Letter?

The chitter chatter around the internet is actually pretty positive in regards to this newsletter.

Naturally, there are some negative reviews and dissatisfied subscribers.

This is only normal as in my mind nothing is every perfect, and of course, not all stocks selected are going to be dead cert winners.

Even Warren Buffet make losing trades!.

The Editor and author Marc does appear to beat the S&P 500 regularly and by a significant percentage.

I done my research on they guy, he does have a solid back ground in the world of finance and has a strong career background and is one of those investor types that could walk into any top job with any company which speaks volumes for his ability and talent.

Most of the negative reviews probably come from the marketing hype and claims made by the publisher and not the author.

This is something that is rife in the financial newsletter industry and not exclusive to The Oxford Club or this particular newsletter. Banyan Hill, Agora Financial and Money Map Press, giants of the industry are just as guilty!.

I just wish these huge publishing companies would behave in marketing terms in a more ethical and to be quite frank, professional way!.

What I Liked About The Oxford Income Letter

There as far as income and investing newsletters go, there are a lot of plus points to the Oxford Income Letter, let's talk about the main ones.

  • Information Is Provided By A Proven Expert
  • Provide Weekly Update & Urgent Blasts To Keep You In Know
  • Focused On Dividend Paying Shares.
  • There are a lot of Positive reviews about the newsletter from trusted sources
  • Very Affordable - Particularly if and when you grab it at the discounted price

What I Did Not Like About The Oxford Income Letter

Not everything is perfect, and to be fair nothing ever will be. Here are somethings that I did not like about the Oxford Income Letter.

  • Not For everyone, Large Investment capital is required to make significant gains in Dollar amounts.
  • Dividend paying shares are great (A strategy I use) but gains are made over time and by reinvesting your returns (DRIP Dividend Returns Investment Program) and take years to see the best results - well worth it (opinion).
  •  You Can find yourself unwittingly auto-resubscribed for subsequent years.

Is The Oxford Income Letter A Scam Or Legit?

The Oxford Income letter is not a scam - not by a long shot.

To say a company or product is a scam outright I would need to be presented with solid verifiable evidence that indicates illegal or criminal activity and able to stand up in court.

I found no such thing in regards to The Oxford club, The Oxford Income Letter Or Marc Lichtenfeld.

If I had - I'd forward it to the authorities and the FTC!.

My Oxford Income Letter Review - The Final Conclusion

My Oxford Income Letter is a genuine and legitimate financial newsletter, written by and edited by a verifiable and legitimate expert and not some made up fictitious persona.

The company The Oxford Club appear to be legit and with their own registered trademark. I checked them out via official channels while waiting for the Better Business Bureau to update their profile on them.

If you are interested in investing and finance, particularly dividend paying shares then this newsletter might just be what you are looking for.

If you are like the many and don't quite have that lump sum to invest or are unwilling to do so - which is pretty understandable, there are many other way in which you can grow your income.

Perhaps you are like me - thrifty with your finance, or knowledgeable about finance.

In this case you can easily set up sites sharing your money saving tips - frugal living is a pretty hot and profitable niche - (as is finance!).

You can monetize your sites by recommending certain products that help people to save or make money. There are many affiliate programs in this area - MANY!.

(As a thrifty Scotsman, I have secret inkling and love for that niche myself!). Generate enough traffic 800 visitors per day and you can start to earn a decent income from an additional income source - display advertising.

Out of the billions of internet users - just 800 daily visitors is a tiny and very achievable amount.

Build up a regular following and you can add in your own ebooks will cash saving tips for example.

Frugal living, is of course only one such idea - this principle can be applied to any area of interest that you so wish.
