Banyan Hill Review
Product Name: Banyan Hill
Founder: Amber Dakar Lancaster, Director Of Investment Research, Robert E. Bauman J.D. Chairman
Product Type: Financial Advice Newsletters
Price: Varies $49 - $199 yearly.
Best For: Those interested in Investing and Financial education newsletters
Summary: Banyan Hill is a $120/year business that sells financial information products - namely newsletters to the general public. While their newsletters are good in my opinion their marketing is exaggerated, misleading and leaves a bitter taste in my mouth.
It is a style not befitting of the industry unless they do wish to be seen as rogue traders.
Rating: 40/100

What Is Banyan Hill And What Are Their Newsletters?
Banyan Hill is a publisher of financial newsletters and owned by Agora Financial. There were founded in 1998.
It is relevant to mention that they are owned by Agora Financial as they both produce very similar newsletters in the same market and appear to be competitors but in reality they are not.
Some of the more popular financial newsletters produced by Banyan Hill include Real Wealth Strategist By Matt Badiali, Profits Unlimited By Paul Mampilly, The Bauman Letter Written By Ted Bauman.
Other popular newsletter by this company that I have reviewed include Cash for patriots, Freedom Checks, and OBL fuel.
Those that write for them are well known top financial strategists and experts that are often seen on a variety of media channels such as Fox Business, Bloomberg and CNN money to name a few outlets.
Some of Their Better Newsletters are produced by Paul Mampilly who is currently the Senior Editor.
Profits Unlimited, True, Momentum, Extreme Fortunes are his newsletters he writes and edits himself and produces Rapid Profit Trader and The $10M Portfolio alongside Ian Dyer.
Other interesting and highly informative newsletters are produced by Robert and Ted Bauman which include Alpha Stock Alert, The Bauman Letter, The Bauman Letter Elite, The Freedom Alliance, Ted Bauman’s Plan B Club.
Although I am a fan of their newsletters and do believe in good old fashioned financial literacy and education as well as investing - something that really should be taught at high school!.
The idea and concept is great - get expert stock market help and picks by experts (such is the case with Paul Mampilli's Newsletters) and take action on them (if you wish).
What I am not a fan of is their marketing style. More on that later!.
Banyan Hill Complaints
Banyan Hill, a publishing company that makes huge amount of money from the sale of their newsletters and training courses.
Nothing wrong with that - one big complaint that I personally and many others have is related to their marketing style.
They make huge claims - often misleading ones and do personally find that to be unnecessary and a cause of a lot of mistrust in regards to their products and product quality.
As a subscriber to Profits Unlimited by Paul Mampilly I can assure you the quality is pretty good, very high in fact. While I have not tried or subscribed to all their newsletters I have no reason to believe that there is a quality problem in their other products.
The problem with their exaggerated and misleading advertising campaigns and in some cases the name of their products (freedom checks, federal rent checks, cash for patriots) is pretty simple - if you have been "lied" to or mislead in their advertising and marketing campaigns why do you think that they would n't do the same when it comes to investment advice?
While dividend payments (what freedom checks really referring to) Of $54,863 on an annual basis would required something in the region of $11m invested (based on a VERY healthy 5% ROI.
Naturally speaking a lot of people buy into their products expecting something much more than it actually is and end up disappointed....very disappointed!
The most common complaints I found when sifting through a variety of sources including BBB.
- Financial Advice resulted in Net losses and not profit.
- Being over billed.
- Pressurised into upgrading.
- Difficulties in cancellation.
Is Banyan Hill BBB Accredited?
Banyan is NOT Accredited by the Better Business Bureau. Their Rating is "NR" Not rated.
Evidently this is not going to be a solid and reliable way of making money on a sustainable basis. With Investment comes risk.
My Top Recommendation will help you to make real money online in a sustainable fashion thanks to their proven method, system and first class training and far less riskier than investing.
If you are lucky and have a nest egg for investing consider the use of professional services from Fisher Investments.
Is Banyan Hill A Scam?
Banyan Hill is a company that generates $120M USD a year for its parent company Agora Financial. I have doubts of a business of that size, stature and longevity (since 1998) of being a scam.
Is their advertising and marketing a bit scammy and misleading? Perhaps so, but as a business I tend not to think so.
In all essence all they sell is an information product backed by a disclaimer that you are at your own risk in regards to the information within the newsletter.
Is Banyan Hill Legit
When it comes to the company being legit I am leaning on the yes side of the fence rather than sitting on it.
Their newsletters are written by genuine experts in the field of fiance, business and investing.
My Banyan Hill Review - Final Conclusion
Banyan Hill adverts and marketing is something to taken with a pinch of salt and very exaggerated. They are designed to lure you into believing that the "$54,000+" check can be yours..but not mentioning the millions of USD invested to obtain a check of that magnitude.
Although in Profits Unlimited I do find the information is good, accurate, actionable and above all profitable (just over double digit not triple or quadruple! Percentage wise!) for me.
Investing is something that you really should not get into unless you are prepared to lose something before profiting.
And unless you are going to invest huge amounts you are not going to earn a liveable "salary" from the income generated from it.
If you are going to invest huge amounts - far better leaving that to a professional like Fisher Investments.
