Mommy Jobs Online is an online employment agency based in Oklahoma City and founded in 2003. 

The website claims to screen all jobs personally to make sure that all the listings are legitimate and no fake or worse still - scam jobs get advertised on their site. 

The jobs available are full time, part time, flexible and all can be done from the comfort of your home. 

There are many bonuses to working at home - one being you choose your own working hours, no traffic to fight with on your way to work, no yakity yak boss.

And you get to be there for you kids! - and can work in your PJ's!. 

Mommy Jobs Online functionality is no different that of a regular online or offline jobs agency with one major difference - they require that you pay a fee to get access to the jobs listings. 

The fee to access the jobs listing is US$85 per category or US$210 to access all categories. The job types and categories that are available are: 

• Bookkeeping Jobs
• Clerical Jobs
• Customer Service 
• Data Entry
• Data Editor
• Digital Marketing
• Medical Coding
• Proofreading Jobs
• Teaching & Tutoring
• Transcription Jobs
• Virtual Assistant 
• Web Designer 
• Writing Jobs

The fee access the job categories is one off and is not a recurring monthly or annual fee. 

Paying your US$85 or US$210 fee just like any other agency does not guarantee that you will actually get a job. It just allows you permission to access their jobs listing.

With no guarantee of a job my suggestion to you is to look at the kinds and types of jobs that you can do or have done in the past and Google them!. 

Or Get on Upwork and perform a search on their database and see if they have a job category for the kind of job that you are seeking. 

There you go! Just a simple search on Upwork and you can see that there are:

• Jobs On Upwork Freelancing
• The Salary Accepted By Individuals
• Plenty Of Work Is Available As A Freelancer On Upwork.

Upwork is free to use, free to join but 20% of your earnings get deducted by the site.

You can get around that by adding it your hourly rate. If you would normally work of US$15/hr set your minimum as US$19 (US$19 -20% = US$15.20/hr). 

You are free to check out jobs going on other freelancing sites and online jobs boards. 

One thing that is an absolute main stay of this site is this section checking on how a company is rated on the Better Business Bureau website. 

If a company is well rated it is a sign in my opinion that they operate and function in a professional manner. 

I am pleased to see that Mommy Jobs online is fully accredited and well rated at an A-. 

Having been in business for such a long time, since 2003, it is not surprising that there a complaints about the company. 

It is like the saying keeping some of the people happy some of the time but not all the people all the time!. 

I have reproduced some common complaints below for your reading and of course to be aware of the type and nature of the complaints.

It Is Not Free To Join!

In my opinion you should never have to pay an employment agency, be it online or offline.

They Only Supply A Jobs List But No Jobs. 

There is only a list of companies that are hiring, keep in mind you might not get one of those jobs. Mommy Jobs Online do not guarantee you employment from home of any nature. 

If you can manage to find gainful employment from their site working with one of the companies that are seeking homeworkers then yes, you most certainly can earn money with Mommy Jobs Online. 

It is entirely up to you to polish your CV get some pro pics taken and put your best foot forward. 

Mommy Jobs online in my opinion is not a scam. There are far too many signals given off that they are legit - one big one being setting up a Limited Liability Company - no scammer would do that as it leaves a paper trail!. 

Also being fully accredited with the BBB and holding a very respectable A- is another signal. 

Taking the time and effort to respond across the internet to every and all complaints is a strong signal of being legitimate. 

They are  a legitimate company with work from home jobs available. 

Mommy Jobs Online is a legitimate site that has absolutely no shortage of jobs available on their site across a number of different sectors - all of which can easily be done from the comfort of your home. 

If money is tight then don't go ahead and pay the fee - particularly when jobs are available for free on other such sites.
