How do eWord Solutions compare - what is working with them like?, what are they looking for and what is their application process like and can you make money with them?

What Are The Application Requirements?

The requirements for being employed by eWord Solutions is exactly what you would expect from a transcription company. 

To qualify you must reside in the United States, be able to type at 60 words per minute or faster, have experience with MS word and similar Word Processing documents.

You must be able to pass local, state and federal government background checks. 

Due to the nature of the work undertaken you must be willing to sign a non-disclosure agreement. 

There is no mention of equipment related requirements such as a modern laptop or desktop, headset and foot pedal, and professional transcription software. 

There is no mention of a grammar checker being obliged either. 

All of those tools will help you to get the job done quicker and more efficiently. 

If you are unable to meet their requirements for any reason, you can consider Proofreading, Online Bookkeeping, Teaching English Online or becoming a Virtual Assistant. 

There are no set working hours with this company. Your official status will be that of an independent contractor. 

Although that does mean they are your client, some companies can oblige a set working hours due to the nature of their business and their obligation to their clients. 

It is not stated on their site the kind of salary that you can expect to earn or the method used to calculate your earnings. 

On indeed.com, for the area they operate in the salary for transcriptionists is stated as US$22+ per hour. 

Due to hiring US based transcriptionists only I suspect they will pay you by direct deposit to your US Bank account or by check to your home address.

Unfortunately, there is no international love going on here. You must reside in the United States to work with this company. 

I encourage you to do your background checks into any and every work from home opportunity that comes your way that you are giving serious consideration to. 

One port of call for checking out a company is the Better Business Bureau. 

I can unfortunately report that there is no listing from eWord Solutions on the BBB database making their default status unaccredited and Not Rated. 

In this section I like to put forward what an employee's point of view is in regards to working with the company. 

This helps you to see what it is like to work with the company and see how they are rated and reviewed by former employees. 

Unfortunately, there are no current or ex-employee reviews on Indeed.com or Glassdoor. 

There are some things that I like about eWord Solutions, which are: 

• They are a long-established company having been formed in 2007. 
• They have wide variety of work available. 
• Very easy and straightforward application process. 
• Free to apply.

There are some thing that I did not like about eWord Solutions, which were:

• No listing on the Better Business Bureau. 
• No full details about the jobs on offer and salaries for each position. 
• Not an international opportunity.

Yes, 

This is a salaried, or rather contracted position where you will be paid an agreed fee for the work completed. No if's and no buts. 

What is disappointing is the lack of information regarding how you will be paid and how much. 

In my opinion eWord solutions are not a scam. 

I have not been able to find any information that would connect eWord solutions to any criminal activity, fraud or suspicious activity that would cause me any concern at all. 

I am happy to say that in my opinion eWord Solutions are not a scam. 

I'd be more encouraging of you to apply for a job at eWord Solutions if they had a much greater web presence. 

A web presence creates more trust and authenticity, and I am not suggesting they are not authentic, I am always very questionable of a business that has been in operation since 2007 and not yet registered with the Better Business Bureau. 

This screams of a lack of professionalism in my opinion. 

By all means apply - it only going to take you a jiffy to fill out the form and send your resume if there is a well paying job at the end of it..nice, if not there is no harm nor loss in trying!.

Approach with caution and KNOW there are better options!.
