The work the comes in from their clients, mainly the US Government, courts and private corporations. 

This work then gets outsourced to their list of competent and capable freelance transcribers. 

Once the completed work has been checked and accepted, the transcribers are credited 

What Is The Work Like?

The work that you get with Kendall Creek can be wide and varied in subject matter, you get a wide variety of audio and video files for transcribing the content into written text based document. 

All jobs that you take on come with set expectation and requirements in regards to formatting and styling. The most common is Verbatim. 

With this company you not guaranteed as to how much work you can or will get on a monthly basis. 

It is stated that you need to take on work regularly and frequently as they like their transcriber to maintain a sharp skill set.

Once every quarter, they get a lot of work as their corporate clients transcribe their quarterly earnings.

It might be a good idea for you to keep meeting their minimum requirements on a regular basis to be considered as active to what can be a nice work flow for that period. 

Turn around times for the legal work is from 2 to 5 days for legal work, for political jobs that come in same day turn around is required.

With Kendall Communications it appears that there are no fixed working hours as it appears, you will be an Independent Contractor and this able to set your hours and days that are convenient and suitable for you. 

Effectively, they will be your client. You have solid ties to deadlines that you MUST meet. If you are on a House or Senate, or any political task you will have to complete the task on the same day.

The pay varies depending of the task that you are given, ranging from 75 cents to US$1.75 per page for legal tasks.

Political Work will pay you on a per audio minute basis. 

The higher rate of pay is reserved for those that achieve an accuracy rate of 99% on a continued basis.

Due to hiring US citizens only I am inclined to think that you will be paid by direct deposit or by check mailed to your home address.

By default their status is Unaccredited and Not Rated. 

On Glassdoor Kendall Creek are reasonably rated at 3.7 with 67% saying they would recommend them to a friend.

At Indeed.com they are much better rated at 4.0.  

It is said that there is plenty of work from good transcribers.

There are some things that I like about Kendall Creek Communications, which were: 

• It is said there are is plenty of work available. 
• Rate of pay is said to reasonable to good. 
• Varied, but interesting job. 
• Get some bragging right..transcribing senate, house and other government work.

There are some things that I don't like about Kendall Creek Communications. 

• There is no listing at all on the Better Business Bureau. 
• Not an international opportunity (but understandably so!). 
• Lacking details regarding how you get paid.

More accurately put you will be earning money with Kendall Creek Communications. The more work you take on, the more you will earn. 

In my opinion, and in my investigations I have not been able to uncover any information or details regarding illegal, illicit or underhand activities that would cause me any concerns. 

It is fair to say that Kendall Creek Communications is not a scam and are completely legitimate. 

Kendall Creek and their sister company birch creek communications can be two very interesting companies to work with due to their client list. 

I suspect that applying for one is the same as applying for another as their application process is the same. Just CC the email to the other of copy paste your own email and send it. 

despite the lack of BBB profile and presence on the web I see no harm in trying!.
