They fall rather nicely into the category of online survey sites. 

They have a long and well established reputation online. All the information that you provide is kept safe and anonymous. 

Signing up is free, and you will get email alerts when new surveys become available. 

Currently, they are only targeting users America, and to take part you must live in America.

Opinion Outpost functions as a market research company for their clients.

They collect the data and information needed and required for their clients to help them to better understand their target audience and gain better clearer market intelligence, consumer behavior and insights. 

This information is highly valuable for clients as it helps with the functionality of their business and has the potential to help them to be more profitable. 

And you, as a user of the Opinion Outpost site get paid for your time and effort taken to accurately fill out their surveys. 

The business model really is that simple to understand. 

How To Get Started With Opinion Outpost?

There is nothing difficult at all when it comes to getting started with this site.  

Just go to the Site home page, create an account - which is super easy to do, you can even create an account using your Facebook or LinkedIn profile. 

Don't forget to check your email for the confirmation email and to click the link inside that email to confirm your registration. 

When you have confirmed your email address by clicking the link in the confirmation email sent by Opinion Outpost you will be sent to your profile page on the site. 

Do fill out the information required as best and as accurate as you can. What you answer here will help them to send the best possible and most suitable surveys to you.  

And when you are finished that you are asked to fill out a welcome survey. You will be awarded 5 points, US$0.50 for completing this survey. 

If you have made this far you are indeed good to go and ready to start taking surveys on their site. 

Each survey, depending will take you typically 10 to 15 minutes. The longer ones are the ones that pay out higher. 

Keep your information and answers consistent, as this survey site has been known to check and block inconsistent users who are trying to "game" the system and get more surveys. 

How Do You Get Money From Opinion Outpost?

To qualify for payment you need to accumulate at least 30 points - US$3.00. You exchange your money for gift cards. Currently only two options of gift cards are available, Amazon and iTunes. 

If it is cash that you want then you can opt to be paid in cash to your Paypal account. To qualify for payment by Paypal you need to have accumulated a total of 100 points - USD$10.00. 

While the site says it can take a few days to process most people have said they get their payment instantly or only a few moments later. 

If you are like I am then you are the type of person that likes to check out consumer groups and organisations as see how a particular business is rated and respected by them. 

This in my opinion gives an indication as how much you can trust a company and how they do business. 

Unfortunately I could not locate an actual listing for Opinion outpost themselves, however the parent company Dynata LLC are listed by the Better Business Bureau. 

Personally I do find it quite concerning that they are not accredited and hold the worse possible rating - F!.

Being in business for such a long time, it is fairly normal to find some unhappy customers and users. 

But not to this extent!.

I am beginning to understand the F rating by the BBB!. It appears that Dynata, fail to pay their users not only for opinion out post but for a number of their sites that they operate also. 

Disgusting behavior!.

In this case pay your users what they are due!. 

Technically speaking Opinion outpost is a legitimate and legal way for you to earn extra cash online by taking and completing surveys online. 

However, 

I am quite concerned about the number of complaints about their parent company Dynata not paying out when users request payment for work that has been done, surveys completed. 

It has to be said also that the potential to earn is low. Not a lot of money will be made - even if and when they do pay out. 

There is quite a concern around Opinion Outpost and their parent company Dynata actually paying out. 

In reality it has to be said that they might not actually pay you. 

In case of Opinion Outpost actually paying out, it is normally very quickly done, most users, who have been paid out commented that they received their funds in less than 15 minutes. 

The official policy is 24-48 hours after requesting payment. 

There are some things that I do like about Opinion Outpost, let's talk about those for a second. 

• Free To Join

This has no fees and no strings attached to get started taking surveys and earning money just as long as you reside in America and are over 18. 

• You Can Actually Earn Money With This Site

It is true that you can earn money for taking surveys with Opinion Outpost. It might be on the low side but you can still earn with this company. 

• The Use Paypal!.

I love Paypal love!. It is always good to be able to be paid to your paypal account.

• Low Payout Threshold 

This I found very good - just $3 for gift cards and $10 for Paypal. 

Evidently there are a few things that I don't liek about Opinion Outpost. 

• Only Available In America!

Very restrictive!. If you are not from America or at least reside there you can't take part in their surveys. 

• Disqualified From Surveys!. 

Due your demographic, regardless, you will find yourself disqualified from many surveys. 

• Poorly Rated By The BBB

their assessment by the BBB rated them at a Flat F, no more to be said!. 

• Shocking Behavior!

It appears they close many accounts when you request payment. This I really did not like to see!. 

Yes, it is true that you really can make money on Opinion Outpost. The question is how much. 

While the actual number will vary from person to person depending on how active they are on the site, how much surveys are paying out and so on. 

In reality - either way, even if highly active, you are not going to much money on this site - that is if they actually decide to pay you. 

It has to be made clear that the company have a track record of locking people out of their accounts and not paying them!. 

In a legal and technical sense opinion outpost are completely legit and not a scam. 

That was something that was actually quite difficult for me to say due to their record and the list of complaints regarding non-payment and locking people out of their accounts. 

I don't like what they and, in my opinion they are bit scammy in that sense.

If you have read this far, you already know that I am not going to recommend this company to you. 

Despite the fact that I don't trust them to actually pay you, the larger point is you will earn nothing worthy of note even if they did have no issue in regards to payment. 

Listen, stop going around chasing up and searching survey sites - this is not a way to earn any money worth of note and does actually involve a lot of work, a lot of time to complete surveys.

Neither have I!. 

No need to complicate your life either chasing up MLM's and recruiting family and friends to try and join you (trust me - the won't!) on your opportunity!.
