What Is Rain Money?

Rain Money, is a rewards site that claims to offer your incentives to complete certain tasks such as signing up, creating YouTube Videos, Facebook Posts, Tweets, Instagrams Posts and Referring friends.

RainMoney.co on their site claim to have been founded in 2013, yet upon deep investigation I found they were first registered in August 2019.

What Is RainMoney
About RainMoney

As proven by a Reverse WhoIs.Com Search the real foundation date is August 15 2019. That is the SECOND red flag uncovered straight away.

The first, is what is not written, not detailed on the site - who is behind the site, who owns it and who is managing it?.

If a company or make money online opportunity is not willing to reveal who owns the business or who is the management team it is very distrusting behaviour and very suspicious - Walk away!.

What RainMoney are a what they claim to be are two very different things.

They claim to be some kind of social media influencer site, in reality they are operating nothing at all like that, not even close to what a real social media influencer does.

A real social media influencer gets sponsored by major brands or gets paid a percentage of every sale they make.

Social Media Influencers don't get paid on a per post basis on social media or for uploading Videos to YouTube.

In reality, RainMoney.co function more like a regular Rewards Site, that pays you for completing certain tasks as follows.

  • US$2.00 For every click on your Referral Link.
  • US$10.00 For every Referral you get
  • US$10.00 For Posting your link to Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
  • US$30.00 For completing certain small tasks.
  • US$50.00 For Uploading A YouTube Testimonial Video

That last one there...US$50 for uploading a YouTube Testimonial Video right there should tell you that their testimonials on their testimonial page are rather questionable as they are incentivised!.

Straight off the bat this site and company are VERY questionable.

Just to be a clear as the day is long, this site and so called opportunity is even a fake rewards site as you will not be rewarded anything for your effort!.

How Does Rain Money Work?

Good Question!.

Generally when I answer this question I am looking to see how the site generates revenue themselves and how they get paid. If a site can genuinely generate revenue then it is a sign of being legitimate.

When the site has a very questionable business model and simply can't make money from your activity on the site then there are huge questions to be asked

Rain Money, and the similar sites that I mentioned above simply cannot make money by referring people to their site.

The site is free to use!.

No money is being made by the site from this. They are at a loss here!.

Surveys, sure it is possible that are making money from surveys by means of a monetisation model and branch of affiliate marketing called CPA - cost per action where they are getting paid for the completion of surveys  and passing on some of the revenue to you for completing the surveys.

But,

from what I have seen on their site this is unlikely as they do not appear to function like a survey aggregator site like Survey Compare or any of the 100+ survey sites I have reviewed.

RainMoney 30 Task Wall

Rain Money's US$30 Task Wall.

Above image is the type of CPA tasks in which they get paid for, but DO NOT share the revenue with you. My experience with CPA tells me that likely they will be paid US$2-US$4 per lead - there is no way they can pay you US$30 for the above tasks.

With Rain Money, you are being asked to enter more and more of your data with each survey that you take and this is how they are making their money - from the surveillance capitalism business model.

Your data is gathered, collected, packaged and sold to third parties!. The data of those that you invite to Rain Money will be also.

In, short you are duped into marketing for them for free while they profit handsomely from your hard work!.

The money and credits that you see on your screen in the dashboard is just numbers on a screen, you will not see those numbers in your bank account or paypal balance.

A Mathmatical Problem!.

As far as RainMoney goes, the numbers simply don't add up. According to their official story (and it is a story!) their revenue is from advertising - which is a legitimate way to make money with a website.

I know, I have some sites that use the advertising revenue business model.

Looking at what they claim to pay you US$25 for signing up, US$50 for uploading a video, and many of the other tasks that are effectively conning you into marketing their site for them.

Now,

RainMoney clearly state on their site that you can earn US$150 per day. The average income for advertising revenue per 1,000 visitors is US$20. This is a figure calculated over many sites and a number of different industries.

To be able to pay out US$150 per day, each member would need to generate 75,000 visitors per day.

Remember that is per member!.

75,000 per day is 2.25 Million visitors per month, per member.

That simply is not possible, not even remotely possible. It easy to see that with just 1,000 members RainMoney would be getting more traffic than Facebook!.

(2.25 Billion with a B visitors per month).

This site claims to have 150,000 members, which equates to them being able to generate 150x the monthly traffic that Facebook gets, a mind boggling 337.5 Billion visitors per month.

In short, claiming the entire world, every man, woman and child (regardless of their ability to understand English) visits their site about 2x per day, every day.

If that was true, Mr M Zukerberg would perhaps study the business model and implement it himself!. After all, this site is effectively claiming to get 5x the traffic that Facebook does in a month every single day!.

Money wise,

Let's just play around and assume for a moment that Rain Money is Legit.

US$150 per day x 150,000 members = US$22.5 Million...per day or US$675,000,000 per month being paid out.

Evidently a site like this one is just not paying out a billion dollars every 6 weeks or so!.

If it was it was be huge massive worldwide news - a phenomena bigger than the BitCoin craze a few years ago.

It is simply plain old "Bovine Excrement".

This site, or any other can generate enough revenue to give away US$675 Million every single month - complete and utter BS!.

Evidently this is not actually going to be a solid and reliable way of making money as spending money is not making money.

My Top Recommendation will help you to make real money online in a sustainable fashion thanks to their proven method, system and first class training.

My top recommended "Get Paid To Site" of this nature is Swagbucks.

How To Get Started With Rain Money?

To get started with Rain Money, (not that I suggest you do!) you need to create an account on the site.

The only obliged information that you need to enter your name and email address and then create a username and password. You will also need to accept their terms and conditions.

I used my "investigation" email address, a throwaway one for investigating sites like this. There is no way on gods earth I will trust them with my personal or business email.

Rather surprising I was not requested to confirm my details by email, instead I was taken directly to the dashboard with a pop up giving me my referral link for sharing on social media.

Evidently, all that matters or is important to this site is that you promote it for them!.

Who Is RainMoney For?

RainMoney appears to be aimed at those that want to be social media influencers and, having studied their site, their terms and conditions and privacy policy they are rather disgustingly aimed at teenagers.

This is something that is abhorrently disgusting. It does look like they are aimed at duping teenagers into promoting their site for free for them!.

...and getting their data, which they can sell at a profit.

Absolutely shocking and disgusting!.

How Do You Get Paid By Rain Money?

The payment options available from Rain Money include:

  1. Cash App
  2. Mailed Check
  3. BitCoin
  4. PayPal

The minimum payout is US$200 which is incredibly elevated for a rewards site (remember this is a fake reward site).

For many of the legitimate reward sites US$25 is high and difficult to reach - sure the legitimate ones like InboxDollars, SendEarnings, GrabPoints and so on do pay out but it takes a lot of work to reach their double digit minimum payout threshold.

US$200 minimum payout is an indication of not having any intention of paying you - even if they were legitimate!.

Is Rain Money Accredited By The BBB?

No!.

Yes, I did check!. It's a habit and a good habit you should get into when it comes to doing some background research into money making opportunities. Despite being "merely a website" - sites like this are businesses also, and any legit business should be registered with the Better Business Bureau.

By default their rating is Unaccredited and Not Rated.

I will be fair here - it appears that this site fall out with the jurisdiction - to use a phrase, of the Better Business Bureau as their address I suspect is in Australia.

In their Terms Of Service they state that they have offices in the US (section 14) yet later in section 17 they claim to be in Melbourne, Australia.

My own belief is they are operating out of Australia as on their sister site Cloutbucks they state the address as 330 Collins St, Melbourne Australia.

Rain Money Reviews And Complaints

Generally speaking, Rain Money is poorly rated by independent bloggers and sites owners across the board RainMoney Reviews are stating that this is a scam.

It is not hard to imagine what the main and most common complaint is...Not getting paid!.

Below shows their rating on Trust Pilot

Is RainMoney Legit?

RainMoney is not even in the same zip code, or the same universe or galaxy as Legit as far as I am concerned

Rain money is a dirty scam that targets highly malleable teenagers into promoting their site with the false promise of a financial reward and cool title of "Social media Influencer".

Rain Money Payment Proof

There is no legitimate payment proof that I have come across that are legitimate.  The Leaderboard is superfake claiming the top 5 have pocketed US$5,604,367 between them.

If, as they claim are making money from advertising revenue that would mean they are responsible for 28 Billion views of their site.

Which would take Facebook all year to get that amount!

If they could generate that kind of traffic they would be traffic gods that literally own the internet due to their ability to pull in traffic like that...and get conversions (referrals!).

Again the maths just does n't add up.

Side Note: This claim equates to the company claiming that around 7.5% of their traffic comes from just 5 of their 150,000 members!.

It is suffice to say, any payment claims or "proof" that you see on Rain Money are fake.

What I Liked About Rain Money

This is not something that I like to say at all! Really!.

I am a positive Pete and I really like to see the sunny side of things, but if you can see something good or something to like about a clear and obvious scam, then you are a brighter and more positive and vibrant person than I am.

There is nothing at all to like about Rain Money period!.

What I Did Not Like About Rain Money

Rather that have huge free for all here and list absolutely everything that I don't like about Rain Money I'll stick to the main points.

  • Rain Money is a clear cut scam!.
  • Identity Theft is a clear possibility!.
  • Selling Your Data to 3rd parties is how they make money! A disgusting business model I abhor!.
  • They are preying on the vulnerable and on Teenagers!.
  • They have no intention of paying you - putting your PayPal account at risk from hacking.
  • Some tasks require your credit card info, endangering you to fraud.

Can You Make Money With Rain Money?

From my investigation and analysis of Rain Money I see that there is no way in which you can or will make a single cent from Rain money.

You will make no money at all with RainMoney! None!.

You may, however lose money if you become a victim of identity or credit card fraud or hacking of your paypal account!.

Is Rain Money A Scam Or Legit?

Rain Money is a complete scam. This is something I can say with 100% certainty.

For the record, this not something that I say often or take lightly due to laws and regulations concerning libel and defamation.

I have no fear in regards to stating what I can see is the obvious truth - Rain Money is a scam!.

Rain Money Alternatives

There are a number of legitimate Get Paid To rewards sites that are legitimate. Here are only a few:

  1. InstaGC
  2. Level Rewards
  3. FOAP
  4. Fusion Cash
  5. EarnHoney
  6. Yoonla

All of those reward sites are legitimate and do pay out. The one caveat is, you won't be earning much money.

Typically, a rewards site can earn you only a dollar or two per day at most.

(no you can't stack them!).

The time taken to earn your US$30 to US$60 dollars per month is between 30 to 80 hours or more to reach that amount making the time-money equation just not worth it.

This type of site is just not teaching you the skill set that you need to make money online leaving you stuck on that treadmill, the hamster wheel of having to do the same thing over and over again to make money.

My Rain Money Review - The Final Conclusion

As clear as I started reviewing this so called "Social Media Influencer" site I knew something was a miss.

The whole business and revenue model was strange and further investigation revealed impossible to generate given the figures thrown around.

Rain money is something you should run a mile from. I suggest that anything that is not teaching you some kind of skill or skill set that can help you make money you should avoid.

That is why I particularly enjoy affiliate marketing - I learned the skill of making money online using affiliate marketing starting with the very basics like how to set up a website properly, how to generate traffic and how to generate revenue from the site and in the process learning key marketing skills.

Skills that are transferable and can be used in any industry and even if I wish to work from someone else (or freelance), can help me to command a rather high salary!.

Do yourself a favour and justice by learning the skills.
