Kannaway Limited Liability Company (LLC) is a Multilevel marketing business based out of California and specialise in the Hemp Oil and CBD based products. 

The company was founded in 2014 and then acquired by Medical Marijuana Incorporated on the 22nd of January 2015 for a whopping $243M USD!. 

Medical Marijuana Incorporated (Inc) is an investment firm that operates in the unregulated industrial hemp and medical marijuana markets and are a public listed company having had their IPO way back in 2007. 

Their ticker symbol is MJNA, currently their stock price is 6.5cents/share classifying them as penny stocks.

Kannaway have 12 trade marks registered related to CBD and Hemp oil. Their product range includes skin care, CBD Vaporisers, food products and health supplements. 

Their mission statement  and objective is "Share life changing positive benefits that hemp based CBD brings to every individual and empower them to share those great changes with their community" 

I'm not going to dispute or discuss the effects or benefits of Hemp oil or CBD here - I'll leave that to the Doctors and medical experts.

There certainly are a huge number of companies in the CBD and Hemp Oil industry sprouting up just now like CTFO, Hempworx, Vasayo and My Daily Choice

The product range of Kannaway is entirely made up of CBD Oil in a variety of forms including balms, creams, essential oils, CBD Dog Treats, and even CBD protein powder!

For clarification purposes you cannot get high from consuming CBD oil products simply because it CDB and Hemp based products do not contain Psychoactive compounds.

Cannabidiol (CBD) is not to be confused with cannabinodiol or Cannabinol, which do contain psychoactive compounds. 

By having less than 1% CBD, Kannaways products are 100% fully legal in all 50 states in American and fully legal in Canada also. 

Kannaway have a very interesting and stand out product that caught my attention  "Humulus Oil" which is a very smart, intelligent as well as sneaky way around certain laws and regulations in specific countries as it is CBD oil, but it is not extracted from the Hemp plant or the Cannabis plant.

It is extracted from Humulus Flowers instead. 

The company use what they call their Bibong formula in their range of products which, apart from the branding and marketing aspect make their products unique. 

Bibong, are herbal formulas that are passed from generation to generation for centuries by a family line of herbal doctors. 

Kannaway do have their products tested by 3rd party labs which is quite reassuring for consumers.

But to be honest here - in an unregulated industry they can claim what the heck they like...and put what ever they want in their products as they are completely unregulated. 

Personally, I have nothing for nor against CBD or Hemp oil companies or industry but being regulated it does/would give more legitimacy to any claims made. 

Kannaway Skin Care Line

The Kannaway product line does include something all women go wild for - skin care products including exfoliant, cleanser, toner, moisturizer and a serum.

All of the skin care products are made with natural ingredients and are said to have anti-aging properties, and able to help your skin look so much better.

Kannaway HempVap

This is a very unique product - a Vaporiser, a CBD Oil based vaporiser. Pretty sure nobody else or very few companies have Hemp vapourisers!.

Quite pricey though, $42.99 for one cartridge and $165,99 for 4.

 CBD Oil Drops

The Kannaway CBD Oil drops, their flagship product line, which is aimed at helping you to a happier, healthier life. 

This product line has their Bibong blend and consists of both MCT and CBD oils and comes in 3 different formulations AM Drops for stimulating you in the morning, PM restore, which is aimed for restoring energy and Revive drops. 

The price range is from $79.99 to $214.99 for a 30 day supply. 

Hempys!

Hempys is a range of clothing sold by Kannaway that are with fully sustainable materials like hemp. 

They are said to comfortable and easy to wear. 

Kannaway has attached to their products a very interesting business opportunity in the CBD Oil sector. 

Like all MLM network marketing businesses you can earn your income in 2 ways - direct sales and recruiting others into the opportunity. 

The direct sales part is pretty interesting as in all essence it is affiliate marketing - my preferred business model.  

The recruitment part? 

That is where the MLM side of the business kicks in. 

Starting Your Kannaway Business

To get started with Kannaway you have to become what they call a "Brand Ambassador" which will set you back $54.98. 

This fee permits you to get their products ar wholesale price. 

The actual compensation plan ver easy to understand. Your earnings are entirely based on sales. 

That is, 

How much sales you make and the amount of sales that your downline make too. Just to emphasis something here - You do not get compensated by Kannaway for recruiting others into your downline. 

They compensate you for ONLY the sales that they make.

This is actually a very good thing as it ensures sustainability for the business as products are getting sold - which is the life blood of the business.

Kannaway Follow what is known as a Unilever compensation plan in all essence, the higher up you are in terms of your rank the greater you earnings can be.

I'm not going to go in to great details here as a video is much easier for you to visualise and follow.

Here are a few Key points:

• Direct Sales: - As an Ambassador you get 30% commission from your downline.
• 3x Direct Sales Bonus: Earn sales bonuses on all Kannaway Value packs sold and 3x the regular rate. 
• 50% DSB Match Check: Get paid direct sales bonus at 50% match on all DSB bonuses. This is paid to your whole team.

Going straight on by the quality of the products and the huge popularity and trend that Hemp Oil and CBD products are experiencing just now I am inclined to say yes, you can make money with Kannaway. 

But,

Two things to keep in mind.

The industry is, at the time of writing completely unregulated. This means the very second legislation is passed to regulate the industry it very well might be that you need a licence to sell this kind of product. 

Then there is the online difficulty.

Back in August 2018 an, actually throughout the whole year Google went on the war path for all health sites that run by non-health professionals and came out with a series of algorithm changes and that huge one "The Medic update".

Making it very difficult for non-health professionals to actually rank a web site in that sector be in regular health or natural health based you WILL have difficulties in getting free targeted organic traffic. 

(I speak from experience - I had (emphasis on past tense!) a health site). My traffic? went down 80% overnight.

Kannaway is not accredited by the better business bureau, however they do enjoy a perfect A+ Rating. 

The Pros

What I Liked about Kannaway:

• Established company valued at almost 1/4 of Bn USD
• Good compensation plan
• CBD Oil is hot just now

The Cons

• Products are very expensive.
• Its difficult to build a site and get organic traffic in anything health related  after the google medic update. 
• Potentially difficult to earn money. 

No, Kannaway is not a pyramid scheme. It is a sales based MLM with no money exchanged for recruiting someone to Kannaway. 

It is most certainly not a Pyramid scheme. 

Yes, Kannaway is an MLM business that operates using the Unilever structure. However as mentioned, there is no financial compensation for recruitment. 

Also, this company has a clear focus on sales. 

No, after researching the company and the investment firm medical marijuana that own Kannaway I can tell you that this company is not a scam. 

Nothing illegal going on here, just a bonafide legit buiness and business opportunity. 

Yes, Kannaway products due to containing less than 1% THC are legal in all 50 states and in Canada also. 

You will not be charged and arrested for possessing Kannaway CBD Oil or Hemp products.

What looks good, and feels like a good idea is not always a good idea. 

CBD is something that is on fire just now, it might sound like a fab idea to get in on it now while it last. But you will find difficulties online ranking anything health related. 

This is just how it is.
