What seems incredibly different about this free online magazine is that in all of the emails I have gotten so far, not a single one of the links or recommendations given are of any financial benefit to the Freedom With Writing site or it's owner. 

Not a single affiliate link at all. 

There is no obligation at all for you to sign up to their mailing list if you don't want to. The site also is regularly updated and serves as a great resource for you if you are seeking writing jobs. 

One of the regular jobs that you will see on their site is for Chicken Soup For The Soul who have different writing jobs available and changes from week to week some times inspiring poems, to health articles about improving your health - their pay is US$200 per story/article published and 10 free copies of the book in which your story is published.

Freedom With Writing is not a site that will improve your writing or teach your writing skills in any such way. 

Nor do they claim to!.

Freedom with writing and their business model is very easy to understand and figure out. 

I was actually expecting affiliate links on their site and some kind of writers training program offered. 

Nope!. 

None at all, zero, zip, nada!. 

And not even a single affiliate link the the emails that I have been receiving. 

The owner of freedom with writing has opted for the advertising revenue business model. 

Their money is made by advertising. When you visit their site you will see some advertising - when visitors click on one of those adverts they (the site) will earn a share of the advertising revenue.

With Google adsense it is something like 65% of the Pay Per Click amount paid by the advertiser - if a click has cost $1 - the site will have earned US$0.65

This is how they make their money. Just to add, you have no obligation to click on any of the ads on their site. 

How Does Freedom With Writing Work For You?

The Freedom with writing does truly function in a noble way, providing you with a list of current jobs available for writers, what kind of articles they are looking for and how much is being paid by the prospective employers. 

Do they do it for a noble cause...well to a degree, there is the slight element of self serving and keeping their site updated, fresh with new content and getting free traffic and more traffic = more clicks on the adverts = more money. 

One of the regular prospective jobs available is mentioned a lot on the site is Constant Content. Don't be thinking that you can easily just land a job there as this is not one of those low quality trashy sub par content mills. 

Constant Content are strict as to what they accept and tend to reject a lot of work. 

If you find a lot of your work getting rejected you could find yourself banned from the platform. Unfortunately, Freedom With Writing omit this part!.

By all means - go for it if you are a already a skilled and accomplished writer. 

There are also a list of sites that I have seen listed that are what I would describe as content farms. 

Chances are you can get a fair amount of work with those sites, but, the question then arises if you are happy with your content getting sold on to third party sites or if you even care!. 

To be fair, this site does have really top notch top paying jobs mentioned on their site, as I mentioned Jack Canfield and his chicken soup for the soul is mentioned a lot as place seeking various jobs available and pays very well!. 

I'd imagine the standard is very high for what gets accepted and not for that publication.

There are occasional but frequent contests available with some pretty big cash prizes. To win it your story, your piece of content submitted must be unique and stunning quality and really engaging for readers.

With close on 350,000 fans on Facebook I imagine that there are a lot of entrants for those contests. 

This opportunity will not help you to earn a passive income as you will be performing a regular work from home job.

I have found this to be inaccurate, there is no indication of your email address being passed on to others in their rather simple and easy to understand Privacy Policy

Also, I have been on their list for around 4 months and have not received spam offers from others or even a single affiliate link in their emails. 

The site owner is simply running a site very professionally and ethically using the advertising revenue business model. 

Freedom With Writing is completely free of charge and free to use. There is no joining fee or subscription fee. 

No products on the site at all not even their own or third party products. 

In my experience in the online world as an independent blogger I can tell you that this amount varies on a few factors. 

Namely your ability to write, the length of the article, who you are writing for and the subject matter - the topic. 

Generally speaking Writers can earn anything from US$20 per 1,000 words to well over US$70 per 1,000 words and beyond.

To be honest there is not actually anything that I did not not like about Freedom With Writing, although I could add they could be a bit more detailed in informing the kind of content and quality that certain sites are looking for.

It's an all round good clean informative site for writers.

Yes, I do believe that you can make money not with Freedom With Writing directly but because of them due to landing a writing gig's or regular job listed on their site.

One slight problem that I do see is that Freedom with Writing does not train you at all in any aspects - they could do with a small training offering. 

We live in the digital age, let's face it pretty much all of the content and writing jobs available is online. 

Online writing requires a particular style and method simply to help other people to find it by means of searching on google. Meaning you need a basic understanding of Search Engine Optimisation.

Most likely you will need to know some specific blogging skills and how to make your writing more engaging for readers. 

If you are missing those skills, it is fairly possibly that you will struggle to hold down regular jobs as the majority of employers online are running their sites using WordPress and will be checking how engaged readers as with your content.

Freedom With Writing is not a scam. 

Not even in the same zip code of scam!. This an absolutely legitimate and well run website. It is, in fact a great resource for jobs for writers and one that I suggest you use - if you are a writer!. 

My conclusion here is that if you are already a gifted and talented writer then go for it - visit their site frequently and check out what new jobs are going on or entirely optional subscribe to their email list and get kept updated daily. 

But, 

Here is the thing...

If you are already a gifted writer, and enjoy writing the why not write for your own site and build up your asset and passive income stream rather than build someone else's? 

It is much easier to do than you think and as a writer or wanna be writer you are already way ahead of 80% of people that start their own income producing site. 

This WordPress thing and SEO - seriously, it is nothing to worry about and is a walk in the park. It is So easy or SEO easy as I call it!. 

My own advice and suggestion is that you mix up and combine writing for someone else and working for your own site and that "extra article or two" per week instead of writing it for another site write it for your own.
