Word Wizards are a small transcription company that conduct the bulk of the work they get themselves. 

The way in which they function can be described as a Business Process Outsourcing Company. Their work comes to them from their clients which they either process in house or if they are busy, they outsource the work to their team of independent contractors. 

Which is where you will come in, as an independent contractor. 

What Is The Work Like?

The work as a transcriptionist, as long as you get the right kind of work and a variety of different subjects, it can be interesting and educational. 

I find it difficult to believe that you will not learn something while transcribing a lot of material covering the same topic. 

If you are unlucky and get a topic that you are not interested in like a long boring court case or some highly technical research based academic file it can get boring and repetitive. 

It is advised to vary up the type of work that you take on to prevent boredom setting in.
