What Are The Application Requirements?

At this moment in time Transcription Experts are hiring Legal and Law Enforcement transcriptionists that are skilled in the Spanish & English Language for Transcribing And Translating from one language to the other. 

The job entails the transcription of audio content in the Spanish Language for Internal Affairs, Criminal Investigations and Law Enforcement. 

It is required that you are fluent in both Spanish And English and able to type quickly and comfortably in both languages. 

Although not required it is strongly preferred that you have experience as a legal transcriptionist in the area of law enforcement, court reporting or a similar area. 

• It is essential that you have first class grammar, including punctuation and spelling. 

• You must be able to proofread your work to a high degree of accuracy.

• It is stated that you need to have experience wit Microsoft Word and able to show strong computer literacy skills. 

• You must have at least 3 years transcription experience with Spanish Audio to English Text.

• Must Have Windows 7, Windows 8 or Windows 10 operating system. Apple iOS or other operating system are incompatible with their system.

• Microsoft 2013 or 2016 32 bit version ONLY. 

• Basic Knowledge of Excel. 

• Antivirus program subscription. (Webroot not accepted!). 

• Express Scribe Software, Foot Pedal and headset, ForTheRecord software. 

• High Speed Internet Connection required. 

There is no mention of a minimum typing speed requirement. 

For general transcription position it is only requested that you have 2 years experience. 

If you are unable to meet their requirements, consider Online Bookkeeping, Proofreading, Becoming a Virtual Assistant or Teaching English Online.
