Being an independent review you can rest assured that there is no sales talk or pitches in this article — just the truth and my own opinion and thoughts about Riway International.

Now, let's crack on and find out all you need to know about Riway International and find out if their health supplement can help with the medical conditions that they claim. After all if this Deer Placenta Supplement is all that it is cracked up to be, you might just be on to a winner here! 

You know as well as I do Health Supplements and MLM 's tend to go hand in hand. Some end up being good, some don't. 

Let's find out where Riway International fall in all of this. 

Riway are a Multi Level Marketing firm in the health and wellness industry that are Headquartered in Singapore with offices in Malaysia, Thailand, The Philippines, Japan, Taiwan and Vietnam with their target market particularly the South East Of Asia.

Riway were founded in 2008 by Dr Lim Boon Hong.

Prior to founding Riway, Dr Lim Boom Hong, a Singaporean national, was a distributor for Nuskin, Enyouth, DW Group, and Asayo and thus we can say is no stranger to the world of MLM. 

The companies name “Riway”, I have spent long enough in Malaysia myself to know this is a very localized and abbreviated way of saying “Right Way”. 

Business wise they are certainly doing something right generating over $4 Billion USD per year in revenue making Riway, the fastest growing health and beauty company in the Asia.

The flagship product, which I'll talk about later is their Purtier Deer Placenta, which is exactly what you think it is!. 

The health industry is a rather crowded market, even form MLM opportunities as there are several others such as:

2. LifeVantage
3. Now Lifestyle
4. Prime My Body
5. My Daily Choice

To name only a few!.

Riway Lawsuit

I am unaware of any Lawsuit filed by and company or organisation against Riway International I do know the Health Science Authority Of Singapore, which I talk about later have asked them to stop making false claims regarding the capability of their product.

Other countries have made complaints and appeals to company also, keep reading to find out.

Riway have very few products available, just two products, Purtier Deer Placenta and Conscientious Skin Care.

That is a grand total of 2 products. 

Purtier Deer Placenta

Purtier Deer Placenta is sold in a coated tablet form and contains a number of other ingredients that have been proven to beneficial for your health including:

• Deer Placenta
• Dendrobium 
• Xanthone 
• Lycopene Oil
• Marine Collagen
• Avocado Oil
• Aloe Vera
• Evening Primrose O
• Borage Oil
• Squaline
• Apple Polyphenol
• Flucoidian Extract
• NucleiClaven

There are a lot of claims made by the company regarding Purtier Deer Placenta by the company and their distributors ranging from benefits to kidney and liver healthy, anti-ageing properties to curing cancer. 

Conscientious 

A business does not survive nor thrive on the back of one product alone, surprisingly, Riway done very well for many years off the back of just one product.

Conscientious is both silicon and paraben free and made with 27 ingredients. It is a non-alcohol based spray. Women can spray the product over their make up without the fear of their makeup washing off. 

The entire ingredient list is difficult to find as there is not so much information on this product. 

However, I have been able to discover that it contains: 

• Osmanthus Fragrans Flower
• Verbena officinalis flower 
• Palmaria Palmata
• Lycium Chinense Fruit
• Rosa Flower  
• Resveratrol

The other 21 ingredients remain a mystery. The company claim the product is an exclusive elixir for your skin and can sooth the appearance of fine lines and improve appearance and elasticity as well as boost hydration. 

I highly suspect that both conscientious men's and woman's products are formulated in exactly the same way. Riway claim that the product is patented yet display no patent number for it anywhere on their site. 

The products by Riway are manufactured under contract in New Zealand by Alpha Laboratories. 

There is absolutely no information regarding The Riway Compensation Plan on their website, you really do need to dig deep to find some kind of information. 

Being a multilingual lover of life this really was a huge test of my Thai, a country I lived in for 5 years.  I did find something on the Thai Riway site. 

Excuse me in advance for any possible errors or confusion, Thai is easy to speak difficult to read and impossible to write!. 

The Compensation Plan

The compensation plan is very basic, if you join Riway, you will be obliged to buy a starter pack — remember which one you buy is entirely your choice.

It may not be in your best or vested interest to buy a more expensive starter pack that your sponsor may pressure you to buy.

Your sponsor will be eyeing up the higher commission gained from you “buying in” with a more expensive product. 

If the system works, it works for all levels that you enter at! 

Once you have joined, it appears that your main goal is then to convince others to do exactly as you have and join Riway. 

The result of this is a main focus being on recruitment, and when that happens in network marketing more recruiting than selling of products is going on, and they whole system resembles a Pyramid scheme.  

The price of the starter packs are as follows:

• Silver $415
• Gold $830
• Platinum $1570
• Diamond $2692

As you can see it is not cheap to join Riway. 

Recruitment Commissions

Riway distributors receive a commission for recruiting new distributors, this is quite common for network marketing companies.  

The amount that you can earn by recruiting is determined by two factors:

1. Which Starter Package a new distributor purchases when signing up
2. Which package you joined on.

• Silver Riway Distributor Earn: $26.97 for distributors that signup for the silver package, $53.97 For Distributors that join with Gold Package, $101.87 for distributors that join with platinum package and $175.36 for signing up distributors at the diamond package.

• Gold Riway Distributors Earn: $30.36 For Distributors that signup for the silver package, $60.72 for Distributors that join with Gold Package, $114.60 for distributors that join with platinum package and $197.28 for signing up distributors at the diamond package.

• Platinum Riway Distributors Earn: $33.73 for distributors  that signup for the silver package, $67.46 for Distributors that join with Gold Package, $127.33 for distributors that join with platinum package and $219.20 for signing up distributors at the diamond package.

• Diamond Riway Distributors Earn: $33.73 for distributors that signup for the silver package $67.46 for Distributors that join with Gold Package, $127.33 for distributors that join with platinum package and $219.20 for signing up distributors at the diamond package.

Residual Commissions

Riway International pay residual commissions based on the well known binary compensation formula. The binary compensation plan places you at the top where you have two legs, left and right. 

You need to recruit two people, who then recruit two more, who then recruit two more each…and so on. If you have not already visualized this in a pictorial form, check out the image below. 

The binary compensation model for multi level marketing firms really does look like a pyramid due to the triangular shape. 

Each level on a binary structure has twice as many members as the one above it. 

At the end of every day Riway International total up all new sales volumes from both sides, left and right of your binary team. You are paid a percentage of the total sales volume generated which is entirely dependent on which starter package they bought: 

• Silver Distributors Get an 8% residual 
• Gold Distributors Get a 9% residual 
• Platinum Distributors Get a 10% residual
• Diamond Distributors Get a 10% residual commission rate over 3 binary levels

Matching Bonus

Riway International pays out a matching bonus based on residual commissions which are paid out on 3 levels of recruiting

• Silver Distributors get 10% matching bonus on level 1 
• Gold Distributors get a 10% matching bonus on level 1 and 2
• Platinum & Diamond Distributors get 10% matching bonus on level 1 to 3

No,

Purtier Placenta is most certainly not approved by the Food and Drug Administration. The government agency has said that the product is a registered a dietary supplement with absolutely no approved therapeutic claims. 

This means that Riway, nor their distributors can make any health claims in regards to the product whatsoever. 

The most common complaints about Riway and their products might surprise you, or shock you in regards to who they come from…government agencies! 

Not only the FDA in the Philippines making complaints regarding unsubstantiated health claims, the authorities in Singapore too!.

The HSA, Health Science Authority, is Singapore's equivalent of the Department of Health. The Straights Times, referring to the Melacca Straights is a popular daily newspaper with circulation in both Malaysia and Singapore. 

The tentacles of Riway seem to be reaching into Europe, according to a report by the UK based Daily Mirror newspaper, who, make no bones about clearly calling the company a Pyramid Scheme. 

The ministry of health banned the product due to health concerns and labelled it as harmful for human consumption. 

So far we have the FDA of the Philippines, HSA of Singapore, The UK Media, The Dubai ministry of health and prevention, voicing their complaints and concerns anywhere else?.

I'm pretty sure if we dig deep enough and far enough the complaints by major out lets will be found.  

Despite it being illegal to make unsubstantiated medical claims distributors make those incredible claims — even that it can cure cancer!

Not only is the claims that it can claim cancer dangerous, the claim made, one which the company has been known to make is that the product contains live cells. 

Sorry, but that is simply not possible. A crushed, compressed and coated pill to contain live cells of a previously live substance is just not possible. Not even remotely possible.

The above video, the individual is most certainly Malaysian or Singaporean, based on accent is making the claims that Purtier Placenta has helped with Gout and Hypertension. 

This is easily discredited in a number of ways. 

Update: The video I originally posted above was deleted from YouTube (I wonder why!). I have since replaced it with the video above. 

What has caught my attention is the claim that taking Deer placenta is some kind of stem cell therapy. Taking Purtier is not even in the same vicinity of stem cell therapy!.

Stem cell therapy requires the use of live stem cells, of which the product contains zero. Also in stem cell therapy you don't simply just consume the donor cells orally!.

If this was the case wouldn't we all be under taking bovine and porculine stem cell therapy every time we consumed beef or pork?.

To further emphasis my point, stem cell therapy has no use in the treatment of blood pressure or gout. 

Basically, it really does look like some of the distributors will do anything or tell you anything to get you to buy the product. 

No, Multilevel marketing, under Singaporean law is strictly prohibited, the law. The governing laws of the country do not make any distinction between Multilevel marketing and Pyramid schemes unlike other countries such as the United States.

In all honesty there is absolutely nothing good that I can say about Riway, absolutely not a single thing.

Usually I am a “Positive Pete” and see the bright side of things but I see nothing good about a product that is unproven and potentially harmful for your health. 

Just for the record, to fully clarify my situation — I am a STRONG believer in natural health with an interest in TCM and Ayurveda due to both practices being thousands of years old. 

There a lot of things that I don't like about Riway.

Warned By Authorities

Riway International has been warned by authorities in at least 2 or 3 countries. I get the feeling that number will only grow. 

Unsubstantiated Medical Claims

This is just about the ugliest thing anyone can do, real people, real illness and in real pain and selling some miracle cure for cancer is just the lowest of the low!. 

Unnecessary Emphasis On Recruitment

The compensation plan by the company is focused around recruitment, which is unsustainable, unless they keep expending to new markets.

Watch out UK, Australia, USA...Riway International might just become available in your country!.

Fake “Dr”?

It has been suggested that Lim Boom Hong uses the “Dr” title illegally to avoid questions related to the medical side of health products.

Apparently he has been doing this for many years as a network marketer long before he started Riway. 

Products Are Incredibly Overpriced

This is actually VERY typical of MLM products, over pricing. This is mostly because so many people in the pyramid need to be paid!. 

A quick search of Amazon reveals a number of different Deer Placenta products available for much cheaper. 

Riway sell their Deer Placenta for $350. 

No Details About The Compensation Plan On The Official Site!

I had to search and search and search across and number of their different localized sites and sites by distributors before I could find one in a rather difficult to read Thai language. 

No Income Disclosure Statement Available

The company should have some kind of income disclosure statement on their site but there is nothing. In fact, the whole site is a big nothingness, barely even any information about their products!

The website is just full of glitzy razzmatazz and selling the dream of success!. 

Unethical Marketing

The marketing of the products is highly unethical, this goes hand in hand with the unsubstantiated medical claims.

I checked out a wide range of different Riway International Reviews from YouTubers, Bloggers, forums, social media, reddit and the beer money forum. 

It seem that there are not a lot of people with a lot of good things to say about Riway International at all.

"A lot of the website a videos are in Chinese, if you don't speak the language you will be missing out on a lot of the training to help you succeed with Riway" Riaz My Internet Quest

"It is not worth the price and the time" Online Business Revenue

I'd love to balance this out with some positive reviews and quotes, unfortunately I could not find any which speaks volumes!

In my opinion yes, Riway international is a scam.

They may be a legal business entity but as far as the HSA of Singapore are concerned and the FDA of the Philippines as well as other authorities of other countries are concerned they are selling snake oil - and making unsubstantiated health claims which is completely illegal. 

Tag that along with national newspapers in the United Kingdom labelling them as a pyramid scheme I'd say if it walk like a duck and acts like a duck it is indeed a duck! 

Keep it at the fore front of your mind that you are being requested to sell a product that is making illegal and unsubstantiated health claims which puts you and your business, should you decide to join liable for that. 

What Riway do very well is sell you the dream of making money and the dream of success so much that you are just aching to sign up and start making money right away. 

Until I see an official income disclosure statement, not a single one in over a decade of being in business I'll label them as “all fur coat and no knickers!”. 

Meaning they look fancy but don't live up to their claims. 

I have strong doubts regarding the ability to earn a full time income with Riway International. 

For legal reasons and a desire not to be sued for defamation I will refrain from saying outright that Riway are a Pyramid scheme. 

The British media, as shown in the screenshot above are happy to say so, and it does appear in my own interpretation that Riway International are in contradiction of Singaporean law in regards to the operation of Multi Level Marketing business. I might be wrong, and it is only my interpretation. 

I will skirt around defamation lawsuit by stating that it is my opinion that Riway International is a Pyramid Scheme. 

This there is absolutely no doubt about and can be proven solidly! 

Given that the company have a focus on recruitment and pay out on several levels using a binary system they are indeed a multilevel marketing company. 

Their product line can be officially classified as quackery and legitimately speaking, it cannot live up to some distributors claims that they make. 

Officially speaking, Riway International are not a scam, but I am not so convinced of their legitimacy either. 

I think that you know by now, having read this far that there is just now way that I can recommend that you try Riway. 

In fact, I tell you to run a mile, and stay as far away from Riway international as you can.  

There is no reason on gods earth for you to complicate your life trying to sell over priced unproved products and to try get other people to do the same over and over again every single day. 

Seek out greater fulfilment in your life and more enjoyable opportunities, do what you love.
