An Honest Point Club Surveys Review – Scam Or Legit?

PointClub has two main types of user, I call these the: 

1. The Back end User
2. The Front end User

The back end user are the businesses and brands that need the market intelligence and insight to their target audience and their thoughts.

They will typically request surveys or hand their own custom survey to Point Club to distribute to their database of users with a set criteria of how many responses they need and the demographic. 

The Front End User is typically ordinary everyday folks like you and me that taking the surveys and completing them as best as we can to help the brands to gather the information they need and get paid for our effort. 

If any money making program, method or scheme grabs your attention be smart do your home work and check them out on the Better Business Bureau. 

By habit I ALWAYS check out the BBB for every review that I conduct. 

I can report that Point Club are Accredited with the Better Business Bureau but are not rated.  

I have a strong preference for displaying and looking for compalints made and filed at be Better Business Bureau as I see these as being more real, authentic and serious than some guy or gal mouthing off and venting their frustrations on an independent forum and complaints board. 

The main complaint seems to be associated with getting paid and an ever so slow response from customer support.

When it comes to getting paid by PointClub you have a number of options including: 

1. Paypal.
2. Gift cards.
3. Visa Prepaid cards.

As far as the gift card option is concerned you have over 150+ different giftcards that you can select ranging from: 

1. Home Depot.
2. Amazon. 
3. iTunes.
4. Target.
5. Walmart. 
6. Starbucks.
7. + many more.  

As a quick word, if you have any gift cards laying around and you want to exchange those for cash you can use cardcash.

Getting actual cash, if this is your preference is easy as you can opt for a prepaid visa card or simple get your money paid direct to your Paypal account.  

Minimum pay out is 25,000 points whic is US$25. 

Let's get the absolute low down on how you generate revenue for yourself with PointClub, the most evident and common way is their surveys. 

• PointClub Surveys:

PointClub.Com is a survey site and, thus as you would expect this is the main focus of generating revenue for their business - which is what they are in business for - to make money NOT to help you to earn money, you will need to qualify for the target demographic for every survey that you take. 

Some you will not qualify for. That is just the nature of their business. 

The surveys you will find under the missions tab. You are told how much you can earn and how long each survey should take you before you get started with it. 

Just how many surveys you can take varies on a number of factors including your location, age, gender and a number of other demographic details.

As I mentioned earlier, Survey sites are not in the business of helping you to make or earn money they are in the business to make money for themselves and ultimately help their clients. 

Surveys just don't get handed out to everyone and anyone - by any survey company!. 

• PointClub Offer Board

This segment, the PointClub offerboard is their Rewards area, where they function similar to Get Paid To Reward sites. 

There are a few tasks here that you can complete and earn some points and thus cash if you so wish to. 

Some of the tasks are: 

1. Watching Videos
2. Download Apps
3. Free Trials. 
4. More Mini Surveys.

Be sharp with the free offers as you often need to add in your credit card details, If you do not cancel your trial before the expiry trial period you will be charged. 

Free trail offers, if you manage it well can be a good way of earning extra money (a few bucks here and there) and get some freebies!. 

Your best way of managing this is by using a spreadsheet and getting used to checking it daily and cancelling 2 or 3 days before the trial expiry date.

• Daily Contests

You can participate in Point Club's daily contests which you will find on their  Facebook page. 

Everyday they announce a PointClub Super Code which you can copy and paste into your pointclub account and when you do 10 random winners will be announced and will be rewarded 1,000 points. 

To qualify you need to like the Facebook Post that announces the Super Code. 1,000 points is nothing, only US$1.00 but it only takes a second or 2 to do!. 

• Daily Streak Bonus

This Daily Streak Bonus is an incentive to get you to use and log into PointClub on a daily basis, hence the name of the bonus - Daily Streak. 

When you start off you will be on level one of the bonus, you will need to log in every day for 5 days in a row to get to level 2 where you will earn a 10% bonus. 

Level 2 comes with a 20% bonus on all the surveys that you complete. There are a total of 10 levels, which is a total of logging in everyday for 100 days and earning a 100% bonus - double your money on level 10 for every survey completed. 

But, 

miss just one day and you slide right back down to level 1 and have to start all over again. 

You do get additional bonuses for reaching higher levels, a 1,000 point bonus is given for reaching Level 3. 

If no surveys are available no problem, just keep your streak going!. 

• Media Lab 

There is something inside PointClub called Media Lab. Here you can get paid for reviewing Offers, Ads, Videos by simply clicking a coloured Green, Red or Yellow Smiley. 

I do warn earnings here are very low; you need to watch or review 13 items to earn 30 points (3 cents to you and me!) - to earn anything decent you need to spend a lot of time and go through a lot of content to earn anything worthwhile. 

• Survey Disqualification Points

PointClub does something that very few survey sites offer that is compensating you for surveys that you do not qualify for. 

This is good as it keeps your chin up and inspired to keep trying and looking for surveys to take. Take it, complete it and get points. Try it, be disqualified and still get some points. That's good!. Only 12 points though!. 

• Sign Up Bonus

At Point Club, like many other survey and Rewards sites you can earn just by completing your profile. 

You can earn US$2.00 - 2,000 points just for joining and a further 3,000 points (US$3.00) just for completing profile information and confirming your email address. 

A nice easy 5 bucks!. 

•  Their Referral Program

You can earn money with PointClub.Com by inviting your friends and family to join and take part in PointClub. Just simply share your referral link, who ever joins by using your link will be your referral. 

You can earn 10% of their earnings, keep it in mind that 10% of zero is zero. Inspire them to be active and remain active. 

When you get 20 or more people to join your referral commission gets bumped up to 20%. 

There are are some points and things that I liked about PointClub which were: 

• They are accredited by the Better Business Bureau. 
• You can earn money with them. 
• Nice easy US$5 joining bonus. 
• Plenty of surveys on the site. 

There are a few things that I did not like about PointClub, which were: 

• While accredited by the BBB they hold a NR rating!. 
• There are some concerning complaints lodged at the BBB regarding payments and slow customer service. 
• Earnings are low - this just beer money at best!.

Yes,

You can make money with PointClub, but it is not likely to be an earth shattering amount at all. Typically US$25-US$50 per month depending on how active you are and how many surveys you will qualify for.

PointClub Surveys is not a scam. This I have absolute confidence is saying. There is no fraud, no scam and no deception going on here at all. 

A low earning opportunity is not enough to label them as a scam - if that was the case my last job would have been a complete scam!.

PointClub Survey are completely legitimate way of earning some money here and there just a few bucks but not anything that is going to pay for a holiday, or your mortgage or anything worthy of note at all. 

If you wish to while away some down time that you have on your way to work or during lunch time and earn a few extra pennies then that is entirely up to you, otherwise I definitely do not recommend PointClub. 

Your time is far better spent learning and mastering the skills that will make you money!.
