Meet The Founders Kyle Loudon & Carson Lim

Jaaxy (and Wealthy Affiliate) are founded and owned by two tech students from Vancouver, Canada, Kyle Loudoun and Carson Lim. 

Kyle appears to be more of the public face of both Wealthy Affiliate and Jaaxy and is highly active inside of Wealthy Affiliate and can seen responding to questions, answers and on live chat answering all kinds or questions relating to affiliate marketing, SEO, Keyword Research, and yes even Jaaxy too. 

Carson, on the other hand is a much quieter figure, reserved and appears to be more of the businessman and heavily involved on the tech side of both Wealthy Affiliate and Jaaxy ensuring they are live functional and up and running.

Jaaxy Keyword Research Tool is a web based keyword tool meaning it works and functions from the internet with no need nor requirement for you to download any software program. 

As long as you can access the internet from any browser you can access Jaaxy. 

For the benefit of complete beginners, I'll explain what a keyword research tool is and what it does.

Google in the king of search engines by far!. It is the the one that practically everyone uses. This is something that is not going to change anytime soon. 

So, 

If you want to rank your articles high in Google you will get a lot of free targeted traffic to your website. 

To make that happen you will need to target your content around a specific keyword so that search engines like Google, Bing and Yahoo know what keyword you are targeting. 

Jaaxy, helps you to do that, to find keywords. 

What you are looking for are the great keywords that have a lot of searches and few competition. 

This is what Jaaxy does very well. Excellently well in my opinion!. You get only the data that you need with all the fluff taken you so that you are not confused or wasting too much time focusing on confusing or uneccessary data. 

Kyle & Carson, the owners of the product are head of a multi-million dollar per year affiliate marketing training platform that started out selling keyword lists to businesses. 

These guys are highly experienced in both keyword research and training affiliate marketers and KNOW what they are doing. 

There is some extra "tools" added on to Jaaxy that help you to find a domain name, research your niche and find affiliate programs. 

Now let's have good look under the hood shall we?

Inside Jaaxy

When you log into Jaaxy and perform a search for a keyword using a seed keyword you will see a screen that looks similar to what is displayed in the image below. 

From this screenshot the seed keyword is house alarm. To fully understand Jaaxy you need to know what the following terminology refer to and what they are. 

Keyword

What Jaaxy displays here are keywords that you can potentially use to create content around.

This column is like brainstorming content idea for you.

Note:  that Jaaxy is particularly good at bringing up good long tail keywords and one that semantically similar - LSI Keywords. T

his is a great aspect as you can use those to help Google to determine what your content is about and to help you create your content too.

Avg 

This is the average number of searches that a keyword has per month.

Traffic 

This how much traffic that you can expect if you get on page 1 of Google hitting the bullseye and landing up on top of the search results. 

QSR 

QSR Stands for "Quoted Search Results", this is how many competing sites are competing for that exact search term and have the term in their H1 title headline. 

KQI 

KQI stands for "Keyword Quality Indicator". This is a very simple way for you to tell if you have good keyword or not.

Previous versions of Jaaxy used a Traffic light colour system of Red, Amber and Green, with Green meaning you are good to go. 

The traffic light colouring system is still in use but has been updated to include greater clarity using wording such as Great (coloured green) and Normal (amber colour) to avoid any possible confusion if a keyword is considered as good one to go for. 

SEO 

This is the SEO score of a keyword based on a proprietary algorithm to help you decide if you can rank for the keyword or not. These are scored out of 100 on a logarithmic scale with 100 being the best and easiest. 

Ideally look for something that is 95+ depending on your site, competition and your ability with SEO. You should never consider a SEO score of less than 90. 

Domains

What domian suffixes are available for you to buy with that keyword if you are in the market for a new website. 

Predominantly, Jaaxy only displays TLD, Top Level Domain with .com, .net and .org termination.  

The Quality Of Jaaxy Keywords

To check the quality of the keywords given by Jaaxy, lets revisit the "House Alarm" Search in Jaaxy, which I will reproduce below.

The first image is a little truncated, the second just continues where the top one ends. 

 Determining a good keyword you need to follow a few hard and fast rules. 

Which as pretty simple to follow: 

• The keyword Phrase must be at least 3 words long. 
• The Keyword Phrase must be grammatically correct and make sense (correct language use). 
• There must be a reasonable number of searches for it to be worth your while in creating the content. Avg greater than 30. 
• The Keyword Phrase must not be too competitive, QSR less than 100 is ideal or less than 50 if your site is new. 
• The KQI Quality Indicator should be green (Great).
• The SEO indicator should ideally be greater than 95 is your site is new or 90+ if it a little aged.

Following those rules and you should find easily rankable keywords. As a general rule of thumb when I am starting a site I stick by the 50x50 rule 50 searches maximum and 50 QSR. 

My aim to get a lot of low traffic easily rankable keywords and build up authority. After that I stick to 100x100 and rarely go over that.

There is no need to!.

Keeping those rules in mind you can see there is a good mix of quality long tail keywords of both informational and buyer keywords. 

Informational Keywords Displayed:

• House Alarm System
• Wireless House Alarm
• Wireless House Alarm Systems
• House Alarm Companies

There are more, these as just to display an example of the informational keywords displayed. 

Buyer Intent Keywords Displayed: 

• Best House Alarm System
• Cheap House alarm Systems

Sure there was a lack of transactional or buyer based keywords, but this was actually expected as the seed keyword "House Alarm" was very basic and generic, significantly more informational "top of the sales funnel" keywords were expected. 

If I am to repeat the same search with a buyer based keyword such as "Best House Alarm", "House Alarm Review", Top House Alarm", "House Alarm For Sale" then I would have significantly more buyer keywords due to the seed keyword. 

So even for a non-buyer keyword being entered as a seed keyword and Jaaxy providing some keyword idea that we can monetise our sites with is great. 

You can also note that all keywords displayed can be considered as long tail keywords and a lot of semantically similar keywords have been given to us.

So yes, the quality of the keywords are great.

Two thumbs here!. 

There are a few different features added to Jaaxy to make it easier for you to find keywords. 

I totally understand that perhaps for your niche you may have some difficulties in coming up with keyword ideas. I'm one of the lucky few where I really just can't stop!. 

The alphabet soup technique is as it sounds, it brainstorms keywords for you displaying them in a A-Z format. 

Search History

The Search History feature appears to store your entire search history for ever...I just checked and mine is going back YEARS. 

This is particular impressive as I use Jaaxy a lot - several searches per day in fact! 

So,

Is you search for something, forget to save it to a list, no worries! Just check your search history!. 

 Site Rank

This is not a feature that I use at all, for no particular reason other than it doesn't provide me with a list of keywords to track displayed in the format that I like. 

I just have a particular preference for Serp Robot to see my results there, and also serves as a mini database & spreadsheet of what keywords I have already targeted and the ability to track up to 20 competitors and how and where they are ranking.  

It is merely a personal preference of mine.

Jaaxy does track ranking very well and has features that in some aspects give it the edge over Serp Robot, particularly where you can see your ranking for a particular keyword over different search engines where Serp Robot only shows you Google. 

Below is a screen shot for one targeted random keyword that I am targeting for demonstration purposes. 

Search Analysis

Now This is where Jaaxy show's its real value and functions as a SEO Analysis tool checking the Page 1 results in real time for a given search term that you enter. 

This allows you to perform research on the competition giving you a basic road map for what is required for you to out rank your competitors for that keyword. 

You will be able to see their: 

• Meta Keywords
• Meta Description
• Alexa Rank
• Backlinks (how many)
• Links On Site
• Word Count
• If they have Adsense on their site or not. 
• Keyword Density

Pretty cool!. 

Competition research is every bit as important as what keyword research is. After all a keyword can appear to be easy to rank for and have few competition, but those few competitor may be some seriously "beefy big boy's" and hard to shift and out rank. 

Pay attention here!. 

This part I am going to demonstrate some keyword research techniques that will get your ranking your site and kicking your competitors butt!. 

How To Use The Jaaxy Keyword Tool!

Let's talk about what makes for a great rankable keyword. 

Follow those rules and you should have no problems at all in finding great keywords that are easily rankable. 

Let's now go on the hunt for some keywords. 

I love Coffee! and Vietnamese Coffee is particularly awesome so I searched for "Best Vietnamese Coffee"

From the screenshot above, all of the keywords in green are all good and fit our requirements. 

The Keyword "Best Vietnamese Coffee" is a touch out, 101 QSR and a 94 SEO score, we can bend the rules a touch to accommodate it. Being slightly out is not a problem.

"Vietnamese Coffee Maker" is definitely well out of our requirements with 291 searches, and even though is a 101 QSR competition for this phrase will likely grow as is gets discovered and likely be strong competition and thus it best not to continue any further with this keyword. 

"Where Buy Vietnamese Coffee" Oh my! 88 searches and a QSR of zero and a SEO Score of 99!! let's grab that one....

No!. 

It is not natural language or grammatically correct. It is a QSR of zero not because nobody have come up with or thought about that phrase. It is a QSR of zero because nobody wants it!.

All of those in the green box are good to go. Start with those that are of a QSR of no greater than 50. 

Especially when you are starting a new site. These keywords are low hanging fruit keywords and easy to rank for.

"Best Vietnamese Coffee Maker" is an oustanding example of a low hanging fruut keyword and should be easy to rank for...

Except, 

Appearances can be deceiving. 

Let's dig deep and investigate deeper!

The screenshot above is only showing the top 5 ranked for the search term "Best Vietnamese Coffee Maker" 

The entire top 10 continues in this fashion. 

have another look at pay attention the PA and DA, Page Authority and Domain Authority. 

 All are incredibly high! Due to such high authority levels it will be very difficult to rank for this keyword regardless of the metrics it has. The competition is strong!. 

Ideally we are looking to Apply my rule of 3. 

This keyword is only compliant with the last two points, no 4 and 5. 

Let's look for and analyse the keyword "Best Vietnamese Coffee" 

This keyword was slightly outwith our desired metrics and unlike "Best Vietnamese Coffee Maker"  it is not a low hanging fruit keyword. 

Let's see how this keyword fares up when we check out the strength of the competition using the Moz Bar Chorme Extension. 

This Keyword has significantly more competing sites with a QSR score of 101 Vs 18 from the allegedly easier to rank for keyword. 

However, the sites that are ranking, despite there being 101 competing sites, is significantly weaker. 

Rule of 3 is perfectly met!. This keyword, with well written quality content will likely rank one page 1 either straight away or inside a month or 2 as it marinates and matures. 

This is why I said before competition research is an important aspect of  your keyword research. 

Now you know this competition is easy all you are left to do is to Perform the search analysis in Jaaxy and check out the idea content length, meta descriptions, keyword density and blow you competition out of the water...

...or down the rankings!.

When I am doing business online with anyone, the first thing that I check for is a rating and standing with the Better Business Bureau. 

Jaaxy is owned by the same guys that own Wealthy Affiliate, which in turn is owned by Niche Marketing Inc. 

There is no separate listing for Jaaxy and Wealthy Affiliate at the BBB even though Jaaxy is a seperate business and entity in its own right.

When you search for Jaaxy on the  BBB website it automatically directs you to the listing for Niche Marketing Inc. 

I confirm this to be 100% accurate as I am a member of Wealthy Affiliate and have been so since 2015.

The company in which I am billed by is Niche Marketing Inc. 

Nice Marketing Inc is not Accredited by the Better Business Bureau and hold a rather impressive and perfect A+ rating. 

I am very familiar with Kyle Loudoun and do chat regularly with him on Messenger, I confirm that he and Niche Marketing Inc are a company and business that you can absolutely trust. 

The one main complaint that users of Jaaxy appear to have is the lack of being able to Geo Target keywords. 

It appears that search volume data is taken from Global Searches and not any localised information.

Jaaxy is ideal for the following groups of people and types of user: 

Bloggers And Niche Site Marketers

Jaaxy swings the bat and hits and home run with this kind of user!. It is the category that I fall into. 

If you are building your business and earning less than US$3,000 per month you will need more content, more rankings and more free targeted organic traffic. 

Jaaxy will help you to find a ton of great long tail low competition keywords that your competitors are missing out!.

I am not concerned about links at all, my sheer volume of content will attract links as will the quality of my content. 

As a content machine Jaaxy will provide you with plenty of high quality, buyer intent long tail keywords to keep you going without spending too much time searching for keywords. 

Jaaxy is a perfect fit for content production machines and will deliver long tail keywords that are great for both buyer intent and informational keywords. 

The Pro version has zero limits as far as daily or monthly searches go.  The Alphabet soup technique can end up delivering hundreds of keywords and content ideas. 

That is nothing to be snuffed at nor ignored. 

Link Builders

If you are a link building machine that seeks to run massive white hat (or any colour of hat) link building campaigns then Jaaxy is going to serve very little purpose to you. 

There is zero information on links or link information in Jaaxy, I can even personally vouch for the creators Kyle and Carson not giving a single kahoots for link building at all. 

It is not part of their philosophy nor what is taught in their affiliate marketing training program Wealthy Affiliate. 

For link building, outreach campaign management and keyword research all together in the one tool you are best sticking to SEMRush. 

Those With An Established Business/Site

If you already have an established site or business online generating over US$3,000 per month you are already at level of earning some solid and regular income and have a steady flow of traffic with your site already covered a lot of highly targeted long tail keywords that are highly relevant for your audience. 

You are still in a prime position to take full advantage of one of  Jaaxy's key strong points. 

The alphabet soup, but seeking out those very targeted unique ones that are very focused on solving the specific pain points and problems of your target audience. 

Solve problems and provide solutions you will be well on your way to becoming that authorative figure in your niche. 

Your audience will trust you more, buy from you and your conversions will go through the roof!. 

If you have an established site Jaaxy is great and will serve you well!

Digital Marketing Agencies

If you are running a digital marketing agency or freelancing as a digital marketing specialist how much benefit you get from Jaaxy will fully depend on what kind of agency or freelance service you are offering.

There is a free starter account option that is available to you that has does not come with any limitations in regards to time. 

You are however limited by the number of searches which is limited to 30. 

The Site Lookups, Website Analysis and Affiliate Program Finder is limited to 20 searches and you can use and save your keywords to just 2 lists.

The biggest limitation for the Starter account - the free 30 searches is the use of the Alphabet Soup facility having the breaks slammed on at just the first 5 results.

• You Can't Geo Target your searches. 
• No language selection option. 

If you are looking to target traffic in a specific country say the USA or UK like I have for one my niches sites which is country specific I cant get any country specific data just global data sets. 

Language selection, while other reviewers claim Jaaxy does not function in other languages, this not true. 

I have performed searches in a few different language that I am fluent in (Spanish, Catalan and Thai) and I can confirm Jaaxy works fine.

My Girlfriend runs her site in Vietnamese and uses Jaaxy with no problems at all. 

Being able to select language a option rather than just typing away in another language may provide for easier and better keyword management and maybe more accurate results due to some languages being country specific like Thai and Vietnamese (and even regional like Catalan!). 

Yes!. 

You can make money both directly and indirectly with Jaaxy. 

Let me explain...
