Who Is Lorne Berry

Lorne Berry is a graduate of Utah Valley University, and has a career in real estate development and investments where he helped educate clients in potential investments in the real estate market. 

In his business career he partnered in restaurants and helped international businesses to expand into the Asian Markets. 

It was while working in the world of business and meeting people from all areas of life he seen a gap in the market in where he could help middle income families to achieve greater financial independence. 

And thus Tranont was born.

Some important information to know about Lorne Berry is in 2013, the same year he filed for a Chapter 13 bankruptcy along side his wifea and launched the company. 

Rather ironic that a man teaching financial education and building a business around the topic was up to his eye balls in debt to the tune of US$773,228 and had a joint income alongside his wife of only US$800 per month. 

It is rumoured Lorne's father bailed the couple out to close on US$41,000 in March 2015.

Tranont has a wide range of products in the legal, finance and health sectors. The Finance and legal services are provided by 3rd parties and are not actually their own products. 

They are in effect a middle man. 

Tranont Financial Services And Legal Service Products

• OneView: This is a finance app that integrates with 16,000+ global financial institutions and gives you full access to all your financial information in one app; This an app by 3rd party company, Financial Apps
• Defend: This is identity theft prevention and Identity protection service (Provided by A third party, Invisus)

• TaxBot: A ver handy tax refund app (provided by a third party, TaxBot LLC)

• Legal: full legal services provided by phone (this is services is by “partnered attorneys” Legal Shield?)

• Credit Services: Management of your credit score (provided by a third party,  ReCredit)

• Tax Services: A tax return service and advice (provider of this service is not named)

• Mobile Healthcare: A healthcare discounts service (provided by third party, Acute Care Triage)

Tranont Packages together Defend, OneView, TaxBot, Legal, Tax Service, Mobile Healthcare and Credit Services for US$125 per month. 

Individual subscriptions are also available but prices are not indicated on Tranont's website.

• Tranont Nutritional Supplements

Prominently placed on the company website is their range of Nutritional Supplements, which are as follows. 

• Icaria Glow: Sells At US$89 for 887ml (30 Fluid Oz) Is a collegen enhanced drink with potent antioxidant support. 

• Life: Sells At US$45, 90 capsules. It Is an enzyme based supplement aimed to improve nutrition. 

• Balance: Sells At US$50, 90 capsules. It is a whole food supplement with Chelated Minerals and Phytonutrients.  

• Vibe: Sells At US$45, 90 capsules. This is a vitamin B complex supplement.

• Restore: Sells At US$50, 90 capsules. This product is aimed at supporting and restoring immune health. 

Both Vibe and Balance Vibe are also sold as bundles for US$140. The supplements were added as a product line towards the end of 2017, with more added in 2018. 

It is possible that further product will be added with time. 

There is also information about life insurance on the Tranont website with the insurance product being called Tranont Life". 

No exact information is provided about it on their site. 

Being a MLM network marketing opportunity you have 2 way of generating revenue with Tranont, which are:

1. Direct Retail Sales: As simple and straight forward as it sounds, this is the sale of products to retail clients and earning a commission for your efforts. 
2. Recruitment: Bring others into the business opportunity, build your downline and earn pass up residual commissions. 

The Tranont Compensation Plan Detailed

Tranont splits the sales of their two product lines into two compensation plans, Subscription & Supplement, and Insurance.

• Tranont Compensation Plan Ranks (subscriptions & Supplements)

Tranont has 10 Ranks in this compensation plan, which is detailed below alongside what is required for qualification at each rank.

• Associate: To qualify at this rank you must sign up and join as Tranont distributor

• Jade: To qualify at this rank you must maintain and generate 100 Personal Volume and 1500 Group Volume per month with no greater than 65% of your Group Volume from any single leg) and also maintain a minimum of 3 Associate ranks in your downline

• Pearl: To qualify at this rank you must maintain a minimum of 100 Personal Volume per month, maintain & generate 5000 Group Volume per month with no greater than 50% of your Group Volume from any single leg and also maintain at least 3 Associates that you have personally recruited

• Ruby: To qualify at this rank you must maintain & generate a minimum of 200 Personal Volume and 10,000 Group Volume per month with no greater than 45% of Group Volume from any leg. you must also  maintain at least 3 Associates that you have personally recruited

• Sapphire: To qualify at this rank you must maintain a minimum of 200 Personal Volume per month, maintain and generate 25,000 Group Volume per month with no more than 45% of Group Volume from any single leg and maintain at least 3 Associates that you have personally recruited

• Emerald: To qualify at this rank you must maintain at least 200 Personal Volume per month, maintain and generate 50,000 Group Volume per month with no greater than 45% of your Group Volume from any single leg and maintain at least 3 Associates that you have personally recruited

• Diamond: To qualify at this rank you must maintain at least 200 Personal Volume per month, maintain and generate 100,000 Group Volume per month with no more than 40% of your Group Volume from any single leg and maintain three personally recruited Associates

• Black Diamond: To qualify at this rank you must maintain 200 Personal Volume per month, maintain and generate 200,000 Group Volume per month with no more than 40% of your group volume from any single leg and maintain at least 3 Associates that you have personally recruited

• Red Diamond: To qualify at this rank you must maintain 200 Personal Volume per month, maintain and generate 400,000 Group Volume per month with no more than 40% of your Group Volume from any single leg and maintain at least 3 Associates that you have personally recruited

• Blue Diamond: To qualify at this rank you must maintain 200 Personal Volume per month, maintain and generate 1,000,000 Group Volume per month with no more than 40% of your Group Volume from any single leg and maintain at least 3 Associates that you have personally recruited

In order to remain qualified for commissions you are obliged to generate a minimum of 100 Personal Volume in Sales every month. 

• Tranont Retail Commissions (Subscriptions & Supplements)

Your retail commission for any direct retail sales is 35% of the the retail sales value. Sell a product - earn a 35% commission. 

Tranont Residual Commissions (Subscriptions & Supplements)

Tranont compensation plan refers to the pass up residual commissions as "Volume Bonus" and is paid using the the Unilevel Compensation Plan. 

The Unilevel Compensation Plan is very easy to understand and comprehend. 

With reference to the diagram below.

Your personal recruits (coloured Orange) are placed on level 1, these are your direct recruits and often called your Front line. 

When your "Front line" recruit people into the opportunity (coloured Purple) they are placed on level 2. Those are your recruits recruits.

The unilevel compensation model continues in this fashion all the way down the line.

The Tranont compensation plan does not clarify if the dollar amounts stated are capped monthly payments, this is how it looks from my point of view. 

Here are the Volume Bonuses as per the compensation plan 

• Associate: This Rank is not qualified
• Jade: At this rank you can earn US$250
• Pearl: At this rank you can earn US$500
• Ruby: At this rank you can earn US$1500
• Sapphire: At this rank you can earn US$4500
• Emerald: At this rank you can earn US$7000
• Diamond: At this rank you can earn US$14,000
• Black Diamond: At this rank you can earn US$20,000
• Red Diamond: At this rank you can earn US$35,000
• Blue Diamond: At this rank you can earn US$50,00

Builder Pack Fast Start Bonus (Subscriptions & Supplements)

The Tranont compensation plan rewards members that signup with Builder Packs and then qualify at Pearl Rank and above within a set time frame. 

• Qualify at a Pearl Rank in your first 90 days and earn a US$2000 Builder Bonus

• Qualify at a Ruby Rank in your first 120 days of joining and earn a US$5000 Builder Bonus

• Qualify at a Sapphire Rank in your first 6 months of joining and earn a US$10,000 Builder Bonus

• Qualify at an Emerald Rank in your first 1 year of joining and earn a U$20,000 Builder Bonus

Leadership Bonus Pools (Subscriptions & Supplements)

The company takes 13% of all revenue generated and puts it into Leadership Bonus Pools of 4% and 9%. 

You can qualify for one of the pools based on your rank as follows: 

• Emerald Ranks earn 1 share of the 4% pool, which is capped at US$1500

• Diamond Ranks earn 2 shares of the 4% pool, which is capped at US$1500 per share earned (US$3000 total)

• Black Diamond Ranks earn 1 share of the 9% pool, which is capped at US$8000

• Red Diamond Ranks earn 2 shares of the 9% pool, which is capped at US$25,000

• Blue Diamond Ranks earn 4 shares of the 9% pool, which is capped at US$85,000

Note: Black Diamond ranks and above keep their 2 shares earned from the 4% bonus pool.

The Tranont Jeep Bonus (Subscriptions & Supplements)

The Tranont Jeep Bonus starts at the Jade rank and above as follows: 

• Jade Ranks Get a US$350 per month payment
• Pearl Rank and above get a US$500 per month payment

Tranont Compensation Plan Ranks (Insurance)

In the Tranont compensation plan they mention Preferred Contract, yet there is no clear definition as to what a preferred contract is.  

My own belief is that a preferred contract is referring to the selling of 3rd party insurance plans. 

The insurance compensation plan has only 5 ranks, which are as follows. 

• Agent: To qualify for this rank you must Obtain the personal life license as well as complete the Tranont Life certification

• Director: To qualify for this rank you must recruit & maintain at least 3 Agents, generate a minimum of 2000 Personal Points, 6000 Team Points, or as an alternative generate 6000 Personal Points

• Senior Director: To qualify for this rank you must maintain and recruit at least 10 Agents, generate a minimum of 6000 Personal Points, 30,000 Team Points or as an alternative generate 30,000 Personal Points.

• Vice President: To qualify for this rank you must maintain and recruit 12 Agents, generate a minimum of 10,000 Personal Point, 120,000 Team Points or as an alternative generate 120,000 Personal Points

• President: To qualify for this rank you must maintain and recruit 15 Agents, generate a minimum of 20,000 Personal Point, 200,000 Team Points or as an alternative generate 200,000 Personal Points.

Rather oddly the Tranont compensation plan does not mention anywhere at all how the points are generated. 

Preferred Contract Commissions (insurance)

You can earn commissions on the insurance contracts that you sell, based on rank as follows: 

• Agents: can earn a maximum of  30%
• Jades: can earn a maximum of  35%
• Pearls: can earn a maximum of  40%
• Rubies: can earn a maximum of  45%
• Sapphires: can earn a maximum of 50%
• Emeralds: can earn a maximum of 55%
• Diamonds: can earn a maximum of 60%

Un-certified agents earn based on rank. Those that are certified earn higher commissions as indicated below: 

• Agents: can earn a maximum of 50%
• Directors: can earn a maximum of 60%
• Senior Directors: can earn a maximum of 70%
• Vice Presidents: can earn a maximum of 80%
• Presidents: can earn a maximum of 90%

Tranont Bonus Pools (Insurance)

The insurance compensation plan has 5 bonus pools as follows. 

• Rubie rank can earn only one share in the 3% bonus pool
• Sapphire rank can earn only one share in the 5% bonus pool
• Emerald rank can earn only one share in the 7% bonus pool
• Diamond rank can earn only one share in the 10%bonus  pool

When a Tranont member is a fully certified agent and achieve vice president or president rank they qualify for 1 share of a 5% bonus pool. 

Jeep Bonus (Insurance)

To qualify for Jeep Payments in the Tranont Insurance compensation plan you need to meet the following requisites: 

1. Generate 15,000 Team Points and 3000 Personal Points every month; or
2. generate at least 12,000 Personal Points every month.

Something that I always check for is how a company is viewed by the Better Business Bureau.

This allows me to see how professionally and legally a company conduct business and gives an indication as how trusting we can be of them. 

Tranont are not accredited by the BBB but do hold a perfect A+ rating. 

I am please to report that there were no particular complaints listed on the major complaints boards and forums online. 

There were also no complaints made on the Better Business Bureau Website. 

Tranont are new and this is to be expected. Perhaps with time complaints will start to show - this is only normal. Every company and business has their detractors. 

All supplements have a side effect, natural or not, organic and hand grown by the Dalai Lama himself they still have contraindications that you should be aware of. 

From what I have seen these are not listed on the Tranont Website or product information page. 

However the company is aware of Tranont Vibe causing redness in the face when taking that product. 

Searches for Tranont Life turn up possible side effects being IBS and stomach cramps. 

By the very definition none of Tranont's supplements are FDA Approved. 

The FDA do not approve of any dietary supplements that are used on or in the human body for the treatment or prevention of any known diseases.

It is the view of the FDA that healthy supplements of all genres are food sources and not medicine. 

The FDA do provide manufacturers of supplements with a cGMP certificate which helps consumers and the general public know if a product is manufactured in a clean and safe environment. 

The cGMP - Certificate of Good Manufacturing Practices is missing from the product labelling and information and thus are not cGMP certified either. 

Currently speaking Tranont are not subject to any current or ongoing lawsuits by any individual, corporation or regulatory authority. 

There are some things that I did like about Tranont, which were: 

• Perfectly rated By the BBB
• Have no current lawsuits filed against them
• Inexpensive to get started (but autoship can add up quickly!)

Ther eare something that I did not like about Tranont, namely: 

• They have 2 distinctly different compensation plans
• They have 2 completely unrelated product lines. 
• Products are very expensive. 
• Monthly Autoship obliged is a "pay to play system"
• Not the best leadership - a company selling finance products yet the founder Had to file for chapter 13 and declare himself bankrupt. 

Unfortunately there is no income disclosure statement available on the company's website for me to be able to confirm your chances of succeeding with Tranont and how likely you are to earn a liveable full time income with their opportunity. 

Posting and up to date income disclosure statement is a legal obligation and in my experience of reviewing some 600+ opportunities this is never a good sign - it is being hidden for a reason!. 

The reason is probably that you can't make money with Tranont!.

This is not particularly as straight forward as it may appear. No straight yes or no here.

The complicated compensation plans do make some elements of the company to appear to operate like a Pyramid Scheme in my opinion. 

The obliged autoshipment to remain as an active member makes the opportunity a chain auto-shipping recruitment scheme ala Pyramid scheme in my opinion as you all you need to do is recruit members who are on autoship then encourage other to do the same and rise and repeat, earn from the pass up commission.

Viola! Pyramid scheme!.

The way the compensation plan is structured there seems to be no real incentive to actually sell their products, no incentives other than a straight 35% commission but why do the hard work and make retail sales when you can recruit someone into the program and get them on your level one and earn pass up commissions based on their autoship? 

Yes, Tranont is a multilevel marketing business opportunity.

This can be easily determined by the business model adopted by the company and further confirmed by the compensation plan and the number of levels in which the company compensate their distributors on. 

Due to the way in which the compensation plan operates in a pay to play fashion with their compensation plan and they way in which the compensation plan can be abused by sponsors and members both in your upline and downline there is huge potential for Tranont to operate like a Pyramid Scheme.

Given that possibility, even if it is not the founder or companies intention coupled that with the fact that Pyramid Schemes (intentional or not) are illegal thus in my opinion Tranont is a scam.

Due to the complexities and complications in running and operating a network marketing business I do not recommend that you get involved with one.

The problems with both compensation plans as I have highlighted is further reason for me to warn you off of Tranont.

One of the reasons that most people fail with MLM opportunities is through no fault of their own.

The odds are stacked against you - that is a fact.

When a new MLM launches they already have their big hitters, the big kahunas on board to promote the opportunity to their list of successful network marketers to make the opportunity work for them, who in turn have their team...

...eventually, guys and gals like you and I find out about the opportunity and it is already an uphill fight to make it work. 

And this is one reason why few network marketing companies actually train their distributors - they don't need to. They have their rolodex of successful 7 figure marketers to promote the company for them. 

Who don't need to train or even bother with you because they have their list of 6 figure earners to call upon...

And this is why most ordinary people fail with MLM opportunities - a lack of training. 

I'm sure you noticed not a single one of these companies actually offer any training to teach you the skills that you need to succeed.

My own suggestion to you is to put in the effort to learn the skills that you need to succeed in the digital world. Once you have those skills you have make any opportunity work for you - regardless of what business model is used.

It is the skills and the skill set that separate success from failure. Do yourself a favour and learn the skills that you need to succeed online.
