Who Is Dr. Michael Debord?

Dr. Michael DeBord has experience in multi-level marketing dating back to 1996, when after 18 months of hard work he was making more with network marketing than he was as a Physician, a profession from which he quickly retired from to focus on Network Marketing. 

He has served as the marketing director for Npros. 

The idea and concept of B3 Sciences and the blood flow restriction training was brought around by his inability to maintain the physique he had as he hit his early 50's. 

After being introduced to the concept by Dr. Jim Stray-Gundersen and his positive results and experiences with this training and work out method B3 Sciences Bands were born. 

B3 Sciences Lawsuit

Lawsuits are something that you should keep an eye out for when it comes to network marketing companies as they are very common, in fact far too common. 

At this moment in time there appear to be no lawsuits filed against B3 Sciences by any regulatory authority, private citizen, distributor or corporation. 

B3 Sciences have a range of products from supplements to their flagship blood flow restriction bands. 

Let's talk about their products for a moment to find out what you will be required to sell. 

• B3 Bands

This is their blood flow restriction bands that you wear while you work out. Your blood flow is restricted in a safe way that allows you to build muscle in much quicker time frame than without due to stimulating the release of human growth hormone.

The bands are to be attached to your legs or arms with velcro and like one of those blood pressure monitors at the doctor's office these bands are inflatable. 

The B3 Bands are sold in sets of 4 and come inclusive of a carry case and blood pressure pump.

The bands retail at US$429.99 to US$999.99

• B3 Meal

This is a meal replacement chocolate flavoured shake loaded with plant based protein, vegetables, fruits and is gluten free, non-GMO and vegan friendly.

The B3 Meal is said to be highly nutritious each kit has 14 packs and sells for US$59.99.

• B3 Alert

This is a powder based dietary supplement aimed to increase your enegy and enhance your focus.

Nutrients include Calcium, Vitamin B12, L-Theanine, L-Carnitine, N-Acetyl L-Tyrosine, Taurine, Green Tea Extract, Aloe Vera, Ginkgo Biloba and Caffeine. 

B3 Alert is preservative free, gluten free and Non-GMO. Each pack of 14 is sold for US$49.99. 

• B3 Start

This supplement is claimed to be a great way to get your day off to a great start. B3 Start contains Caffeine, Collagen, Aloe Vera, Protein, Fiber and goosberry. 

Just add water and you have an instant delicious and healthy smoothie. 

• B3 Satisfy

B3 Satisfy is a weight loss and weight management supplement that is aimed to be a snack replacement. Just like the other B3 consumable products this is gluten-free, preservative free, non-GMO and Vegan friendly. 

14-day pack will cost you US$49.99.

• B3 Shaker Cup

Just as it sound a plastic shaker tumbler that you can use to mix the B3 Products. Ideal to take down the gym with you. 

• B6 Rank: To achieve this rank you need to maintain your MLM qualification for commissions, recruit at minimum of 3 commission qualified distributors, have 3 or more B4 or above ranked distributors in your MLM downline and generate at least 10,000 Group Volume per month.

• B7 Rank: To reach this rank you are obliged to maintain your MLM qualification for commissions, recruit at minimum of 4 commission qualified distributors, have 2 or more B5 or above ranked distributors in your MLM downline and generate at least 25,000 Group Volume per month.

• B8 Rank: To reach the B3 rank you are must maintain your MLM qualification for commissions, recruit at minimum of 5 commission qualified distributors, have 2 or more B6 or above ranked distributors in your MLM downline and generate at least 50,000 Group Volume per month.

• B9 Rank: To reach this rank you need to maintain your MLM qualification for commissions, recruit at minimum of 6 commission qualified distributors, have 2 or more B7 or above ranked distributors in your MLM downline and generate at least 100,000 Group Volume per month.

• B10 Rank: To qualify for this rank you are obliged to maintain your MLM qualification for commissions, recruit at minimum of 7 commission qualified distributors, have 2 or more B8 or above ranked distributors in your MLM downline and generate at least 250,000 Group Volume per month.

• B11 Rank: To get to this rank you are obliged to maintain your MLM qualification for commissions, recruit at minimum of 8 commission qualified distributors, have 2 or more B9 or above ranked distributors in your MLM downline and generate at least 500,000 Group Volume per month.

• B12 Rank: To reach this rank you are obliged to maintain your MLM qualification for commissions, recruit at minimum of 8 commission qualified distributors, have 2 or more B10 or above ranked distributors in your MLM downline and generate at least 1,000,000 Group Volume per month.

Group Volume is the sales generated by yoru downline team, inclusive of your own sales and personal purchases.

• Kit Ranks

There are only 4 kit ranks which are as follows:

• B3 Sciences Kit Only: Join and become a B3 Sciences distributor via basic membership. 

• B3 Sciences Tier 200: Join as a distributor with a Starter Pack or buy or sell 200 Personal Volume worth of company products.

• B3 Sciences Tier 500: Join as a distributor with a B3 Sciences Fitness Pack or buy or sell 500 Personal Volume worth of their products.

• B3 Sciences Tier 1000: Join as a distributor with a B3 Sciences Founders Pack or buy or sell 1000 Personal Volume of their products. 

The sale of products to qualify for ranks must be to retail clients.  If a distributor opts not to buy a fast start package, their personal volume qualification is accumulative and unrelated to time based restrictions. 

Personal Volume: This is the sales that you make to retail clients or your own personal purchases.

Qualification for MLM Commissions

To become MLM commission qualified a distributor must generate a certain amount of Personal Volume, ranks B1 To B5 are obliged to generate 50 Personal Volume Per Month. 

• B6 Rank and B7 Ranks are obliged to generate a minimum of 100 Personal Volume per month.

• B9 Ranks and B9 Ranks are need to generate at least 150 Personal Volume per month.

• B10 Ranks and B11 Ranks are required to generate a minimum of 200 Personal Volume per month.

• B12 Ranks Are obliged to generate 250 Personal Volume every month

B3 Sciences Retail Commissions

Retail Commissions for B3 Science Distributors can earn a 20% commission on retail sales made.

• Kit Only Distributors and Tier 200 Distributors can earn a 10% Commission
• Tier 500 distributors can earn a 15% commission 
• Tier 1000 distributors can earn a 20% commission

Retail Achievement Bonus

Distributors ranked at Tier 1,000 can qualify for an achiever bonus if they sell US$1,000 per month is retail sales the bonus is 5%.

If they manage to make US$2,000 in retail sales can get a 7.5% achiever bonus. 

Recruitment Commissions

Residual commissions are paid out when a new recruit signs up and joins with a the B3 Sciences Fast Start Pack. 

• The recruiting distributor earns a 10% commission from Tier 200 and Kit Only; 15% Commission is earned by tier 500 and above distributors. 

• The immediate upline of the recruiting distributor can earn a 5% commission. 

• The first B6 Ranked distributor upline earns 4%

• The first B7 Rank and B8 Rank distributors found upline earn a 3% commission

• The first B9 to B11 Ranked distributors found upline earn a 2% commission.

• The first B12 distributor found upline can earn a 1% commission.

The Sliding Bonus

This bonus is a 1% bonus paid on recruitment when a same raked downline distributor recruit a new distributor on a fast start pack. 

Only B6 ranks and above can qualify for this bonus. 

Residual Commissions

Residual commissions are calculated using a 3x8 matrix. This model places you at the top with 3 people directly below you. 

The three positions below you are the first level of this 3x8 matrix. The second level is if formed by splitting the 3 positions on level 1 into another 3 position each making 9 positions in total. 

The third level continues in this fashion with each of those 9 positions on level 2 splitting into yet another 3 position each making 27 positions in total. 

Levels 4 to 8 continue as described. 

The pass up residual earnings are calculated based on total sales volume for both recruitment and retail sales over the whole matrix. 

• B1 Rank Distributors can earn a 5% commission from level 1 Only.
• B2 Rank Distributors can earn a 5% commission from level 1 and Level 2.
• B3 Rank Distributors can earn a 5% commission on levels 1, 2 and 3.
• B4 Rank Distributors can earn a 5% commission on levels 1, 2, 3 and 4.
• B5 Rank Distributors can earn 5% on levels 1 to 4 and 4% on level 5.
• B6 Rank Distributors can earn 5% on levels 1, 2, 3 and 4 and a 4% commission on levels 5 and level 6.
• B7 Ranks and greater ranked distributors can earn a 5% commission on levels 1, 2, 3 and 4, 4% commission on levels 5, 6 and 7 and a 3% commission on level 8.

Tier 1,000 distributors who have also achieved B6 rank and earn an extra leg on their 8x3 matrix expanding it to a 8x4 matrix. 

B9 Ranks get permitted to add another position making their matrix a 8x5 matrix. 

B12 also get an additional position making their matrix a 8x6.

Leadership Bonus Pool

B3 Sciences put 2% of all the company's total sales volume and puts it in a leadership bonus pool. 

• B5 Rank Distributors can qualify for 5 shares of the bonus pool
• B6 Rank Distributors can qualify for 10 shares of the bonus pool
• B7 Rank Distributors can qualify for 25 shares of the bonus pool
• B8 Rank Distributors can qualify for 50 shares of the bonus pool
• B9 Ranked Distributors can qualify for 100 shares of the bonus pool
• B10 Rank Distributors can qualify for 250 shares of the bonus pool
• B11 Rank Distributors can qualify for 500 shares of the bonus pool
• B12 Rank Distributors can qualify for 1,000 shares of the bonus pool

This bonus is only paid if and when the companies total revenue generated for teh current month is greater than the same month of the year before. 

Founder Bonus Pool

2% of the total sales generated company wide is put into this bonus pool. This bonus is only available for distributors that are Tier 1,000 and B3 qualified or above. 

• B3 Rank Distributors can qualify for 1 share of the bonus pool
• B4 Rank Distributors can  qualify for 2.5 shares of the bonus pool
• B5 Rank Distributors can  qualify for 5 shares of the bonus pool
• B6 Rank Distributors can  qualify for 10 shares of the bonus pool
• B7 Rank Distributors can  qualify for 25 shares of the bonus pool
• B8 Rank Distributors can  qualify for 50 shares of the bonus pool
• B9 Rank Distributors can  qualify for 100 shares of the bonus pool
• B10 Rank Distributors can  qualify for 250 shares of the bonus pool
• B11 Rank Distributors can  qualify for 500 shares of the bonus pool
• B12 Rank Distributors can  qualify for 1,000 shares of the bonus pool

Again, this bonus is only paid if and when the current months total sales is greater the total sales revenue of the same point in the previous year.

Something that is an absolute must for all business and money making opportunities that you are interested in is to check out how they are rated with professional associations and Bureaus like the Better Business Bureau, the DSA and TINA. 

This helps you to see just how trusting you can be of a company and how legally and professionally they conduct their business. 

I can report that B3 Sciences are fully accredited and hold a perfect A+ Rating at the BBB.

The DSA, Direct Sellers Association is an association that stands as the Voice for the network marketing industry and has a strict code of ethics that members must uphold, or face being expelled. 

Membership is subject to a very stringent and lengthy process that takes up to 12 months to complete.

Sadly B3 Sciences are not listed as members nor pending the completion of an audit. 

The Truth In Advertising, or TINA as they are known is an independent website that reports of misleading advertising, deceptive advertising, false income claims and unproven health claims made by advertisers. 

There is no listing for B3 Sciences on the TINA Website. 

The most common complaints that I seen around the web by independent bloggers and current distributors were related to the price of the products, expensive making the obliged autoship a burden. 

Some point out, which is true, B3 Sciences operate on a pay to play basis. 

No, 

B3 Sciences supplements or their Blood Flow restriction Bands are approved by the Food and Drug Administration. The FDA do not approve devices of such nature nor any dietary supplements to treat, prevent or cure any known diseases. 

There is no indication that their consumable products by are manufactured to any known safety standard such as the NSF or cGMP.  

Despite the claims of being Vegan and Non-GMO there is no evidence of this other than claims being made by B3 sciences themselves. 

It is claimed that there can be adverse effects if the Fitness used incorrectly can be quite a risk. 

Consult with your physician prior to use a blood flow restriction device while working out. 

There are some good thing about B3 Sciences that I did like, which were: 

• Fully Accredited and perfectly rated at A+ By the Better Business Bureau. 
• They have a manageable number of products to sell. 
• Their Blood Flow Restriction Device is a very unique product and angle. 

There some things that I did not like atout B3 Sciences, which were as follows: 

• Not Members of the DSA nor have membership pending.
• Their products are on the expensive side. 
• Autoship, although not obliged is highly pressured by the company
• It does appear that they operate using a pay to play system
• No income disclosure statement available. 

I am a stickler for detail and presenting facts and not just giving you my opinion particularly in this section where the facts matter most. 

Sadly, I am unable to present you with an income disclosure statement, which is an obligation to publish one!. 

Such a statement gives you an accurate and fact based manner of knowing if you can or can't make money with B3 Sciences as well as how much and how likely you are to achieve it. 

In my experience of reviewing 600+ opportunities this is never a good signal. It is being hidden away and unpublished for a reason. 

Dr Jon Taylor, an expert industry analyst conducted a study into MLM companies and discovered regardless of which company, across the entire industry 99.7% of participants in network marketing businesses fail to break even and end up losing money. 

With this in mind, and until I am proven wrong by a B3 Income disclosure statement, it will be my opinion that you will not be able to earn a full-time income with B3 Sciences. 

With the pay to play fashion regarding recruitment and autoshipping of products B3 Sciences does look like a Pyramid scheme in my opinion. 

It also appears that the vast majority, if not all, of the company's sales are from within the company itself with little outside organic sales being generated. 

Despite the fact that the company operates in this manner and the business is wide open to abuse* technically, and in the eyes of the law and regulators they are not actually operating a pyramid scheme!. 

*It is very easy to recruit and bang recruits on autoship and get them, your downline to do the same, thus functioning as if it is a product based pyramid scheme. 

B3 sciences compensate their distributors over several levels making them a Multi-Level Marketing Business Opportunity. 

This is a not so straightforward question to answer. 

Based on the fact and functionality of the business as it stands and as it is intended by the founder and CEO, B3 Sciences is NOT a scam as no act of deception or fraudulent behaviour is taking place that leads to a financial loss. 

But, 

If your sponsor is running their B3 Sciences business by abusing some easy to see obvious gaps in the compensation plan and operating a product based pyramid scheme then yes, a scam is taking places as pyramid schemes are illegal. 

The only way for you to know is to ask your potential sponsor for some income proof and check out how much he or she is making from genuine retail sales and not from having their downline on autoship. 

B3 Sciences do have a very interesting flagship product, one that I am actually a bit curious about such is the way that it stands outs. 

If you know fitness enthusiast, chances are you might be able to sell the blood flow restriction bands to them. 

And this crowd do spend a FORTUNE on supplements...the supplements this crowd buy are muscle builders, onces to aid post work out recovery, B3 Sciences don't appear to have in their product line. 

Meaning, 

You can only sell once to this crowd as the Bands are non-consumable. 

My main concern is the autoship obligation, ok, it is not obliged but highly pressured and manipulated in the compensation plan that you do otherwise kiss good bye to possible pass up commissions. 

This plus the tied in Play to play, I think this one is best left out.
