Capital Typing offer a wide variety of services to their clients and then hand over and outsource the work to their network of Freelancers and independent contractors to complete the tasks. 

The business model adopted is that of the very common "middle man agency" where the work comes in from one party and then sourced to another for completion and returned to the agency who then forward the completed work to their client for inspection and acceptance. 

Upon completion and acceptance, as a freelancer you will be paid. 

The Work At Home Opportunities Available From Capital Typing

This company hire independent contractors and not direct work from home employees. 

As an independent contractor or freelancer you are paid on a "per product" or "per piece" basis where you are paid upon successful completion of tasks and not a set hourly rate.

I was expecting to see certain skill set for certain jobs plus details regarding experience and possible equipment and software requirements.

There are not rates of pay stated on their website, as both you and I can imagine the salary and rate of pay will vary widely based on the different jobs. 

A customer service agent for example will not be paid the same rate as a web designer or developer. 

I have been able to uncover that medical transcribers are paid in the US$17 per hour range - as stated on Indeed.com. 

This I expect will vary based on typing speed and quality of the audio.
